Look at this field, look at this perfect field
The possibilities are endless here
Just white lines, no boundaries to hold us here
Except for time and so much history
Imagine what has happened here All the stories
Games that have been won
And friends having fun
Coming back for one perfect night
Right here

I can't believe it. Cas, Cassie, Carson, and I are finally getting together back at our old high school. It's been a year, almost exactly, since we've all seen each other. Of course, I was roomed with Cassie in college, but other than that, we hadn't heard from Cas or Carson since graduation.

This is the story of four best friends
Who were in one place and night never ends
We talk about things that matter and then
In the same way act like we're ten
And then do it all over again
We're from, just imagine this kind of town
Where the popular click keeps you down
We can put on pads and make caveman sounds
As you knock smaller kids than you to the ground
Doesn't that sound fun to be around?

Basically, our hometown is really crappy. And i mean really crappy. Cassie and I were expected to be preppy cheerleaders, while the guys were supposed to be big, 'macho' football players. Tell that to our personalities.

We were never big enough and fast enough
To keep up with all of them
But we were always smart enough and quick enough
To know we'd be better in the end
Then the seniors from the football team
Who wouldn't let us play
We couldn't catch or run as fast
So they told we were gay
They try to make us worship the
But we like things our way
Just me and my three best friends

Outcasts. That's the best way to describe the four of us. A nerd, the quiet kid, the obnoxious one and the dy freak. The Marauders, as Carson had nicknamed us. Said it was from something called 'Harry Potter'. I'm pretty sure i watched it at Higgin's sometime. Maybe. Nevertheless, our crew of freaks made our own rules (which Cassie broke), and lived our own way. I know most people hate high school, but it was probably some of the best (and worst) years of my life.

Cassie's a pranker and Carson's the voice of reason
And Cas is the reason Cassie's not in detention
The bickering siblings, it's sick
It's like the boiling water couldn't mix
There's something about us that just clicks
Cause I am the glue that holds us together
Observer, inventor and soul documenter
Constantly watching and constant in senate
To keep moving forward and always remember
Where we started from and how far we've come
Since the day that we had no one
But we formed this perfect union
And an era had begun
We get this life so differently
Than anyone our age chooses to see
Me and my three best friends

HERE we go! All about my friends!

Carson Higgins. The 'quiet and quirky' one of the four of us. None of us would've gone anywhere without him. Between Cassie getting out of detentions, Cas actually passing classes, and me joining the drama show back in our junior and senior year (I got Mrs. Lovette in spring of senior!), we'd either had killed ourselves or each other without that guy. He's super sweet, and protected me (and got protected) like a brother.

Cassie Higgins. Carson's twin sister. Known as the 'class clown' of the grade. A sweet girl deep down, but not when you first meet her. Sarcasm is her first language, and pranks and chemistry seem to be the things she favours most in the world. Without her, life would be plain and boring. I got in detention multiple times because of her, but hell yeah, it was worth it. Between either her planned out (and spur-of-the-moment) antics or late nights up, watching horror movies, the girl is amazing. I think this is decent for indescribable.

Cas Raynell. This boy is something else. Between his looks, personality, and just...him, I'm surprised he didn't have more than just the one girlfriend through the four years. And even that didn't last long.

ANYWAYS, Cas is...probably my best friend. Was, at least. I don't know; haven't talked to him in A YEAR. He's super sweet, doesnt really catch sarcasm quickly, but is a genius nevertheless. He's probably the reason I passed 10th grade. Also the reason Casssie got detention a lot. She got caught on his ideas for pranks, technically not his fault.

Your best friends open up your mind
To parts of you, you couldn't find
They saved my life freshman year
And I thank them everyday, right here
We?ve been away for way too long
And all that time alone felt wrong
Cause we belong right here

Freshman year. It's hard to talk about, but my parents died over christmas break. Car accident. Thank god my cousin, Charlie, (who also happened to be my science teacher) lived in the same area. I moved in with her the night after I found out.

I was wrecked. Emotionally, physically, and especially, mentally. Somehow, Charlie had managed to get the other three over, and they actually ended up...they saved my life that night. And I love them and thank them every day for it. Cassie, Carson, Castiel: thank you.

And we're coming back tonight
To remember what we were like
And pick up right where we let go
I know this story so well
And it is mine to tell
Because it is happening to me
And my three
Yeah me and my three
Yeah me and my three best friends

Back to what I originally said, we're back. Finally. For the first time in a year. The nostalgia, and the memories were just...i don't know what it is, but I'm excited. Are you ready for tonight?

How was that? I don't know about this chapter to much, but I'm hoping it's alright. Yes, I'm still writing the supernatural book in case anyone cares enough to wonder, but...yeah. I hope you enjoy this!
