The Guardians flew from a kaleidoscope portal to the Bethlehem home to drop Miranda off, then head to Father Time so they could stop Pitch before he invented another evil plan to return the world to the Dark Ages. "Sheila, help me!" Bunny clutched on for dear life to Julia who laughed to tears the entire trip. "What kind of bloody sleigh doesn't have buckles?" The furry rabbit-human tried screaming over the whistling of the wind. Bella was clutching to Jack and Rachel to Sandy who just gave a sweet smile to the scared teenager. Jack just gave a smug smile because this time, Bella didn't cling to him because of transportation, but protection. Bella wasn't scared of anything, but she was nervous around things like heights, just worried that her breakfast might not make it to digestion. Rachel, however, was scared of heights, not only because of the height difference between the sky and the ground but the danger of a sudden death from falling from an open sleigh without buckles.
"Can I remind you to put buckles on the sleigh next time, North?" Rachel called out, yelling above the loud wind in everyone's ears. "Ha ha ha! You don't need seatbelts! It's the Sleigh!" North chuckled and whipped the reins to fly faster. In no time, the many mortals and immortals arrived at Summit Court. "Home sweet home," Julia breathed a sigh of relief as they saw the home in sight.
Rachel and Bella smiled to each other and looked to the big house, North smiled and landed the sleigh in the driveway. The girls jumped out one by one, Bella and Julia landed smoothly but Rachel simply wobbled out and sunk to the cement on the ground in relief. Bunny finally removed his strong grip from Julia's now almost limp arm that began to feel relief. The partly limp girl began to wildly move her arm by swinging her body around and letting the blood start to flow in her fingers. "Better," she murmured and looked at the house. The girls took Miranda up the steep driveway and rang the doorbell, Miranda holding onto Bella and Rachel's hands. Opening the door, Mrs. Shively gave a sweet look that read, "I'm so glad to see you, my baby is unharmed" and Miranda broke free and jumped into her mother's arms. "How was your time with the girls?" She asked.
"It was awesome, Mommy! We got to meet Santa, the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and Jack Frost!" Miranda giggled and her mother gave the girls a strange look. "We played pretend and ran around the empty streets," Bella lied, giving her mom a look of care and one that looked like she had sincere fun. "Sounds fun!" Mrs. Shively smiled and began to walk back inside. "We're going to take a little bit of a walk more, we need the exercise!" Rachel suggested and turned to leave. "The more exercise, the better!!" Mrs. Shively beamed and closed the door behind her. "Phew!" Julia sighed and looked to the Guardians with a wide-eyed look.
"I'm sorry. I should have told the truth, but I don't think she'd have believed me," Bella confessed, in front of Jack. They all gave a sweet pity-type look, North smiled. "It's perfectly fine, child". Bella nodded and blushed, and began calming down slightly, Julia grinned and looked to Bunny. Rachel smiled and looked around the house, seeing Jake in the backyard, madly sniffing for something. Bunny frowned at the sight of the dog, Julia giggled and squeezed the rabbit. "Don't worry he won't get to you." Bunny smiled and hugged back, "Thanks, Sheila".
Bella looked to Jack who smiled back to her but seemed a little off, "Jack are you ok?" the boy rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "I don't want to leave you Snowflake!" He frowned and looked at his bare cold feet. The brunette smiled and walked towards him in a loving manner "Jack it's okay, I'm going with you to Father Time".
Rachel opened the small knee-high gate guarding off the driveway and the backyard. As soon as she closed it the blonde felt dangerous eyes on her, she froze and looked to Jake who seemed perfectly calm under the intense gaze from the unknown person.
The others smiled and talked to each other while they decide what to do, Bella and Jack seemed to be happy at the point, Julia and Bunny sat next to each other on the porch and talked while the other Guardians just stood around and smiled.
