The Race to War

    Glaring at the globe he walked around it angrily. "The lights! Why aren't they going out?". Lilith whinnies, which pissed him off further. "They're collecting the teeth?" The tiny tooth fairies he captured twittered and fluttered around in their cages, growing excited. He growled, "Oh, pipe down or I'll stuff a pillow with you!" He seethed before narrowing his eyes, "Fine have your last hurrah. For tomorrow, all your pathetic scrambling will be for nothing." He then crushed a tiny version of Sandman made from his black sand.

    After everyone collected teeth, they all gather at the Brooklyn Bridge. Holding their bags up to show Tooth, the girls already knew what would happen as they stood beside the fairy. "Wow! You guys collect teeth and leave gifts as fast as my fairies!". The boys suddenly grew confused and looked uncertain, which made Tooth frown slightly "You guys had been leaving gifts, right?". Sandy nods happily but then shake his head no. They all start to look pained and guilty before going to a laundromat and getting quarters.

    Going over the houses again they start to leave coins, North starts to leave candy and presents. Bunny leaves easter eggs. Sandy was about to leave a coin but frowns and flicks it over his shoulder as North lights up a Christmas tree in the child's room. 

    Soon enough Tooth, Jack and the girls were sitting in Jamie's room. Jamie a boy who the girls knew from the beginning of the movie lost his tooth and truly believed in the tooth fairy, hopeful to stay up and catch her in the act. Jamie asleep in his bed, unaware of the guardians in his room.

    "Thanks for being here, Jack. I wish I'd known about your memory. I coulda' helped you." Jack then smiled and nodded, "Yeah, well, look let's just get you taken care of, then it's Pitch's turn." North now squeezing through the window "Here you are!", finally setting his two feet down to only be quieted by Tooth and motioned to Jamie. North and Sandy both went quiet. Rachel, Bella, and Julia now were sitting by the window North came through and waited. 

    It was sort of stupid to know what was coming next so now they knew what was coming next but Julia then frowned. Bunny appeared and frowned "Oh, I see how it is. All working together to make sure the rabbit gets last place." Julia shushed him pointing to Jamie. Bella suddenly frowned "No one cares about how big the bags of teeth are~", Jack blinked and didn't say his comment which would start a whole argument waking up the child.   

    Instead, he widened his eyes hearing a long growl. Looking to the dog that now stood on the edge of the bed. Abby, the boy's dog, now staring deadly at the Easter bunny. Sandy snaps his fingers making sure Jamie stayed asleep and honestly the girls forgot about the small detail as Bunny was bragging about himself but they all watched as Jack hit Jamie's alarm and Abby's eyes dilated, lunging at the enormous hare. "Crikee! Ahh!" he now ran and bounced around the walls before knocking Sandy off balance. North then shouts Sandy's name and backed up. The girls stay in their place and watched as Sandy missed Abby and hit Tooth. She goes down and so does baby tooth as they hit the bed. He then throws another but it hits Bunny who falls, then hitting Abby who let out a yelp. It bounces off of the dog and hit North who crashes onto the bed asleep.

    The girls finally look out from their hiding spot and looked over to Jack and Sandy who were basically the only ones left other than them. North and Bunny dreams combined above their heads now and Jack laughs, "Oh I really wish I had a camera right now." Bella shook her head as she heard this and then Julia looked to the window and widened her eyes "Nightmare!"

    Jack whipped around and frowned, jumping onto the windowsill to only look at the nightmare gallop away "Sandy, come one! We can find Pitch!" He called before following him. Julia suddenly follows, floating into the air with deep concentration and then Rachel used Sandy's sand to create a platform as she floated out. "Bella stay here and tell the guardians what happened!" The brunette frowned and huffed in loneliness but nodded and closed the window before hiding until she saw Sophie come in, Jamie's little sister. Hiding quickly, she saw the little girl trip over Abby sending the globe from North's jacket she found tumbling to the ground. It exploded into a portal, seeing her look to Bunny she excitedly says "Bunny! Hop hop hop! Oh!" The portal now turns to pretty Easter colors and Bella quickly jumped in behind her as Sophie walks through. The portal closing, trapping them both in the Easter bunny's world.

    The four start to follow the nightmare trying to destroy it until one goes into the grate in the streets of Burgess and now Jack followed the other one with Julia following him. Sandy and Rachel go to follow the third one. Jack finally freezes it to the ground before chuckling "I got it! Sandy! Julia, did you see that? Look at this thing!" Julia looks at it and frowns, it was creepier up in person but after watching Supernatural for a long time, things didn't get to her. It was just creepy.

    Pitch suddenly appeared walking behind Jack and Julia before seeing the girl whip around. "You know for a neutral party, you spend an awful lot of time with those weirdos. This isn't your fight." He purred before seeing the frost boy whip around hearing this. "You made it my fight when you stole those teeth!". Suddenly he jumped to the side as he saw Sandy but chuckled, "Now this is who I'm looking for". Sandy looked pissed. Making a whip of sand, Pitch dodged it as the guardian cracked it. Pitch suddenly makes a scythe, swinging it but Sandy caught the handle and jerked the boogeyman into the air and then launched him into the street below. Rachel widened her eyes and smiled. "Remind me never to get on your bad side". The blonde and frost looked to each other at the same time. They laughed but then the four settled on the ground as Pitch bounced off the car sending its alarm blaring.

    "Okay, easy! You can't blame me for trying, Sandy! You don't know what it's like to be weak, and hated! It was stupid of me, to mess with your dreams.--", the two girls knew what was happening next and frowned "You're pathetic." Julia said. Stopping Pitch in his tracks until he shook his head "You can have 'em back."

    Nightmares suddenly surrounded them stomping their hooves in anger. A beat of silence before Pitch says "Boo!". The nightmares attack, Julia shoots into the air already concentrating despite her fear. Rachel levitates the sand and shoots it at a section before making herself float into the air.

    Pitch took a step back in disapproval and growled, "You've girls learned the stone's powers well, but can you use them?" he grinned before Jack and Sandy fight some of the mares. North's sleigh passes overhead the three guardians dozing off due to the Dream-sand. After bumping into a building they startle awake.

    Pitch moves through the darkness to only soar into the air, they all follow him seeing the nightmares turn in a circle in the sky around the one person the guardians needed the most. Sandy. Rachel and Julia looked to each other, they had to stop this. Knowing what was going to happen, but would probably mess up. Julia soars higher and destroys the creations as she goes. Rachel, using the air to cut them apart as she uses deep concentration soaring with Jack and the flying girl. Pitch stands on a black sand platform but soon pulls the string of an invisible bow, using an arrow-head shaped out of black sand aimed at the dream guardian.

    He lets it go as Sandy fends for himself and then froze feeling the arrow lodged between his shoulder blades. Rachel screams and Julia cries out, but Jack launches himself up and frowned "Noooo!".

    Pitch laughs menacingly and watched as Sandy turns to him. "Don't fight the fear, little man. I'd say sweet dreams, but there aren't any left." Sandy frowned and closed his eyes before the black sand closes in on the glowing yellow light, snuffing it out like a candle. "NOOO!!" Jack and the two girls race but then grunt as they were hit with a horde of nightmares. Rachel widened her eyes and floated back slightly before crying out. Her eyes glow yellow as her mind was suddenly filled with dreams and she opened her hands wide. Julia yelping and now almost dropped the stone but soon enough she felt a power surge through her with such emotion as wind surrounded her. Jack widened his eyes until his heart flared and his staff glowed. Jack, Julia, and Rachel all clapped their hands together. Rachel sending yellow light, Jack sending a white frozen light and Julia sending a bright glowing white light as it overcame the nightmare wave and soared to Pitch where the nightmares exploded like black sand fireworks over the city, knocking Pitch away as he cried out.

    Jack falls in exhaustion but Tooth catches him setting him down as he slowly starts to wake up again. Rachel let out pained breaths, her eyes still glowing. Julia had started glowing as the stone glowed. She was one with it. Rachel was now one with hers. Her eyes finally blinked back to normal as she saw the moon before going unconscious and falling. Julia looked over still floating and caught the blonde before collapsing into the sleigh.

    Pitch widened his eyes as he saw this now standing on the ground, watching Rachel and Julia. Growling he then realized that the blonde had perfected Sandy's sand trick. Seeing her fall he watched as Julia caught her. He slightly wondered where the hot-head was, but at the moment he was glad he didn't have to fight her. He would save that for later. Seeing the sleigh disappear through a portal he then smirked "Finally! Someone who knows how to have a little fun!"
