Chapter 10- Its Over

~Hayes POV~

I'm so mad. I throw my phone across the room and punch my pillow while grunting. "UGH!" I thought maybe she liked me when she broke up with Matt but apparently it was just to help her image. Why do I even try with her. It's going to take a lot to win back my friendship, I think.

After about 10 minutes I decide to get dressed. I put on some basketball shorts and a Davidson Day grey sweatshirt. I walk down stairs and go outside, I guess I will practice some lacrosse. I start practicing scoring when I see movement out of the corner of my eye.

I look out of the corner of my eye and see Cece watching me from her balcony. I smile and continue to play, kinda showing off, kinda practicing. Eventually I stop and look up at the balcony. She's still standing there just where she was a half hour ago. I smile up and her and she's blushes, knowing she was caught.

She goes inside and I hear something hitting a window? I turn around and see Matt throwing rocks up to her window.

"Matt, leave her alone!" I scream at him.

"She's my girlfriend not yours so fuck off."

"I actually believe she's your EX girlfriend." I say making the EX louder than the rest.

"This is all your little game isn't it. She's just being practically black mailed by you and your family. She doesn't like you! She likes me, get that in your head."

"No I won't because she broke up with you. You made her into a slutty brat and who ever doesn't like Cece for who she is shouldn't be her boyfriend."

"So your saying you should be her boyfriend?"

"Actually no, I wasn't. I don't need or want to be her friend let alone boyfriend." I see Cece walk off the balcony with her head in her hands. What did I do? "I'm still mad at her for how she treated my family. I just know that she should be dating some douche bag. Your lucky I didn't tell her about Lauren."

"Hayes shut the fuck up."

"Make me" I said smirking.

He punched me in the face and then kicked me in the stomach, I fell to the ground. I heard Cece scream. Cece ran outside, I couldn't move. She ran right up to me and started to cry.

"This is all my fault" she whispered to me. I was going to respond but I didn't have a chance.

"Hey so babe you wanna go with me now that he's takin care of." Matt asks her.

"NO! I DUMPED YOU! THAT WAS ALL ME. YOU MADE ME INTO SOMEONE IM NOT AND HAYES HAD TO REMIND ME WHO I WAS. YOU DONT CARE ABOUT WHO I AM YOU CARE ABOUT IMPRESSING LAUREN! YEAH I KNOW WHO SHE IS. PLUS YOU JUST PUNCHED AND KICKED MY BEST FRIEND."

"He doesn't seem like he wants to be your bestfriend." Matt said smirking.

"GET OUT NOW!" She says pointing to the gate.

He's right, I don't but I'll save that for later, I have to tell Cece. He doesn't move. She runs up to him and punches him in the face and pushes him out the gate. He runs away, baby.

She runs over to me and hovers over me.

"Hayes.... I'm so sorry. This is all my fault."

"No, it's not. I edged him on. I'm sorry you had to deal with him. I'm gonna go now." I said to her as I tried to stand up.

"Hayes you can hardly move... Why do you want to leave?"

"I can't be here with you!" I scream at her.

"But I- I thought..."

"You heard what I said to Matt, I don't want to be your friend, let alone boyfriend okay? Get it through your head!!"

She gets up and runs inside, I can't tell if she's crying or not. I hope she is. Maybe my pain will go away. I love her but she friend zoned me once again.
