Chapter 20- Together Again?

~Cece's POV~

I wake up and see makeup all over my face and pillow. I cried myself to sleep last night. Hayes was sweet and all with the pancakes but he still knows what happened and what he didn't do, which was stop her.

I get out of bed and start to head towards my door, forgetting the makeup all over my face. I open the door and freeze. Hayes is laying on the ground outside my door in a ball. I run over and sit next to him. Around his eyes is all red and puffy and there are tear marks on his face. He still has the flour all over him from last night. It looks like he just layed there right after he talked to me.

He was asleep now but I had to wake him up. It was Wednesday but we had no school. I needed to talk to him. I shake him but he doesn't stir. I keep shaking him but he doesn't wake up. Geez, he's a heavy sleeper.

Finally I stop shaking him. I roll him on to his back so he is facing the ceiling. I put a leg on either side of him and have my butt hovering over his stomach(I didn't want to hurt him by sitting on him.)

I just looked at him. He was so peaceful when he was asleep. I looked at his adorable face and leaned in and kissed him. I guess that will wake him up. After a couple seconds he started to kiss back. This wasn't any old kiss, this was the perfect kiss. Our lips were moving in rhythm with each other. I felt all the sparks and butterflies I could possibly imagine.

By the end of this kiss I was completely laying on top of him, our faces right next to each other. When we pulled away he just looked up and smiled at me.

"Sorry, there was no other way to wake you up." I say blushing.

"Oh don't worry, I liked it."

"Hayes, were on a break though, remember?"

"Damn it Cece" he says pushing me off of him and standing up.

"Hayes?"

"Cece I can't live with you and I being on a break. Can't you see that I don't want Lauren, I want you!"

"It doesn't look like it when you kiss her in the hallway and then flirt with her DURING A CLASS IM IN, while she's SITTING IN MY SEAT!" I snap back at him.

"I pushed her away when she kissed me didn't you realize that? Plus she wasn't flirting with me and I wasn't flirting with her, she was making fun of me for losing you! Can't you see it's all a set up to break us up?"

"I-I-"

"Save it Cece. If you want a break, fine but that means were done." He said as he stormed over to his room and slammed the door.

What did I do. I walk over to his door and hear him crying. I made him cry, I messed it all up. I over reacted and lost the best thing that's happened to me. I try the handle but the door is locked.

"Hayes!" I call through the door.

"Go away" he called back. I started to cry.

"No! You need to come back out here or let me in. I never finished. I don't want a break anymore!" I screamed trying to make sure he could hear it over his cries.

He got up and opened the door. We were both crying and had red puffy eyes. I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged me back and I just put my head on his shoulder. We stood like that for a couple minutes until Hayes speaks up.

"What happened"

"Huh? What do you mean?" I replied.

"With our relationship, are we like together or not?"

"Umm I don't know" I say pulling away from the hug and looking at him. "Your the one who said we were done so don't ask me."

"I only said that because if you wanted a break then we were over. I don't want to break up with you, Cece," he looks straight into my eyes, "I love you."

"I love you too Hayes. I never want to lose you." I say hugging him.

"Good because I don't want to live in a world where we're not together."

"Me too."
