Heart Candy is an assortment of poems that came straight from the heart, for the heart.
From confusion and heartache to sweet tender love, these poems express only what the heart yearns to say.
What is Heart Candy you may ask, some kind of strange play on words? A meaningful yet subtly crafted ensemble of woven art in the form of writing?
Well, I would like to claim that of course, but instead of being some crafty title to draw people in it is simply an expression of the poetry I create. It is candy to my heart, a sweet release.
This collection will only grow over time as emotions overflow into structure and form. Some will be short, some long. Dark, happy, confusing.
Welcome to the depths of my heart where the candy is free and should probably not be taken from shady old men in white vans with tinted windows. Ahem. Anyways, proceed if you wish.
