The temptations are strong,
the consequences not unheard.
The sweet burn that's so welcome,
how can the lines be so blurred?A moment they say on the lips,
a long time is forever to have on my hips.
But the burn, oh the burn,
it lights a fire inside my soul.
But when, oh when, will I ever learn. What's so wrong with this packet?
What's so bad about this food?
Surely one more bite won't hurt my resolve only crack it?The crunch is so fiery,
and the balance so sweet.
This heart wants much more,
is this more than a dream? Can my soul keep it's sanity and still my hips keep their grace?
Because I just can't abandon my Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream without losing face...

Side note: this particular poem is about my unhealthy obsession with my favourite food (Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream chips or 'crisps' for the weirdos out there). I make no apologies for writing this. Also I think my good friend Shrekkkkkk shares this problem with me.
