Why can't I resist the longing,
the desire to give in?
Is it truly bad, ungracious,
can it really be called a sin?My mind is wrestling and screaming,
desperately fighting, unbelieving.
Desire, planning, action, regret.
Now there is no way to forget.I've hidden, cried out, poured out my heart,
and yet there is flame lurking,
just a spark and a wild fire will undoubtedly start.Wet cheeks, shaking body and reaching hands,
how to deny the urge?
Bury my head in the sand?Is chaos a reality or is it a way to be free?
Ebony or ivory, that is the question.
My feelings are locked away, will anyone find the key?Written on the 14/01/19
