My Brother's Best Friend

Chapter 5

This week has gone by incredibly slowly. Danielle and I have been so excited for the weekend it's been so long since we have been to the beach. It wasn't long until we had all of our bags packed and we were off. It took a few hours to get there, a bit longer with the pit stops. When we did get there we all worked together to unpack our stuff and then to set up our tents and the fire. Once we were all done Danny and I used one of the tents to change into our bathers.

When we exited the tent the boys were sitting around the fire drinking a beer talking about whatever guys talk about. Bobby was the first one to catch sight of us. He stripped from his shirt joining Danny in the water. I stayed ashore with Jamie. I took over the seat Bobby once used. I grabbed Jamie's beer taking a sip. Jamie took it back complaining "you missy are underage."

I watched as he took another long drink before I took it back. Amusement passed over his face as I finished his drink. "I may be underage but we are in the same grade."

Jamie took the bottle from my hands taking it up to the bins. I followed him, when we got to the bins I stopped to sit on the wooden fence. Jamie came and stood next to me looking out towards the water. I asked, "did you know they slept together?"

Jamie nodded his head "I saw her leaving the next morning and then their change in behaviour I put two and two together."

I pinched the bridge of my nose "I didn't know until this week, I asked Danny about them and she let it slip then."

Jamie ignored what I had said about Danny and Bobby. "Did you tell Danny about me and you?" He asked.

I nodded my head "not everything but the main details, have you told Bobby?" I watched Jamie look down in shame answering my question. I grabbed his hand reassuring him "it's okay you don't need to."

Jamie pulled away from me "that besides the point Matilda. I kissed you and you kissed me. I like kissing you and it's all I think about. Having you close has taken over my life and I can't tell my best friend about it because I'm too weak."

I interrupted him from rambling "why do you think you are too weak, what is keeping you from telling Bobby? Are you embarrassed or just ashamed?"

He looked at me surprised "none of those. I'm scared of me, of being enough for you or being me and messing the whole thing up."

I pulled him into my arms wrapping him tightly into an embrace. "Okay, we won't start a relationship, we will get to know each other romantically and then we will go day by day."

Jamie kissed my nose pulling me into his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he slowly carried me to the water. Right as he was about to drop me into the water he declared "I'm going to tell Bobby."

I nodded my head "and what is it you are going to tell him?"

Jamie wrapped his arms around me tighter "I'm going to tell him I like you and that I want to be with you?"

I cupped his cheek roughly kissing him, I took his lower lip in my mouth. I nibbled at his lip "you like me?"

Jamie nodded against my lips, taking control of the kiss. He murmured "yes, very much."

I unwrapped my legs getting out of his hold, I grabbed his hand pulling him down to the water. As we reached the shore Jamie shed his shirt before walking in with me. We both joined Bobby and Danielle. They were currently playing around in the water. We didn't stay in there long because we needed to make a start on dinner.

We were all gated around the fire wrapped in blankets. Laughing about some of the silly things we used to get up to. My mind was occupied by the thoughts I was having about Jamie. He was sitting the other side of the fire next to Bobby. I could see him watching me through the fire. I turned in early, tired from the journey up here.

Just as I was dozing off I felt a heavy arm wrap around my waist. I turned around, I came face to face with Jamie. I cuddled into his breathing in his earthy scent. He kisses my forehead holding there for a moment. I shifted my head up causing his lips to brush my nose and then to my lips. I brushed my lips over him teasingly. He pulled me firmly into his chest "kiss me" he demanded.

I followed the order, again gently brushing my lips over his. I laughed "where do I kiss you?"

I felt the smirk on his face as my lips brushed him again, he breathlessly spoke "anywhere you want."

I brought my lips to his cheek placing a gentle brush of my lips. I moved down his body trailing my lips down to his neck, gently biting down on a piece of flesh. I felt shallow intakes of breath as I made my way down further. I moved my lips down to his collar bone, I licked along his collar bone before I brought my lips down sucking on the skin, leaving behind little love bites. Jamie's breathing became more erratic, his lips parted letting out a deep moan.

I moved lower and lower until I reached the elastic band of his briefs. I let them slap the skin before I placed gentle kisses around the band. I could see the prominent bulge in his briefs. I ran my finger around the outline of his manhood. He let in a deep breath in anticipation. He grabbed my hand stopping me. "Not now! Bobby and Danielle are in the tent next to ours, they could hear."
