"Orcs!" Legolas said. Boromir ran over to the door, almost getting shot. Everyone started to panic. "They have a cave troll." Boromir says, starting to block the door with everything that he could find. Legolas and Aragorn joined in. I took out my bow and nocked it, ready to shoot if any orc bursts through. Once Legolas, Aragorn, and Boromir were done, they came back to where I was standing. The doors were broke down by the orcs, so I started to shoot them. I quickly ran out of arrows because I have shot so many, so I pulled out my sword. I hear a huge groan and look over. It is a cave troll!! I start to run to it, slicing it's legs. It picked me up and threw me across the room! Dazed, I got up and kept fighting. "Dalia!" Legolas shouted. "I'm okay, Legolas! Do not worry about me!" I yell back. "Frodo!!" I hear. Looking over, I see that he had been stabbed! I fight off the last of the orcs, before running over to him. He looked badly hurt. Legolas, Merry and Pippin killed the cave troll then came running over. Aragorn turned him over, and instantly, Frodo woke up! He is alive! I was very relieved. "There's more to this hobbit than meets the eye." Gandalf said. Frodo opened his shirt. Mithril! He was wearing Mithril! "You are full of surprises, Master Baggins!" Gimli states.
I hear more orcs coming. "To the bridge of Khazad-dûm!" Gandalf says, and we all start to run off.
As we hurried out of the room, we entered yet another large area with stone pillars. I looked over my shoulder when I heard annoying screeching sounds. Orcs, of course, there were what seemed like hundreds of them running after us. I started panicking and tried to look away.
"This way!" Someone called. I wasn't sure exactly who it was for it was too muffled by the sound. I looked around while still frantically running. They were everywhere! My heartbeat sped up! We came to an abrupt stop as they gathered all around us. Such ugly creatures orcs are. I quickly grabbed Legolas's hand and he squeezed it comfortingly, reassuring me that everything was gonna be alright. It got quiet for a moment. It was a booming noise - or growling noise - coming from a distance. The orcs all seemed to be very frightened from this creature as they quickly scurried away. Legolas quickly pulled out his bow and arrow aiming at the direction the mysterious sound came from. He was always so cautious.
"What is this new devilry?" Boromir asks Gandalf, quite appalled. There was a moment of silence while we heard the creature growl viciously.
"A Balrog" Gandalf answers, angered and scared all at once. "A demon of the ancient world" I turn to Legolas, he was just as scared as I was. "This foe is beyond any of you. Run!" And at that, we all quickly turn around running towards the other direction. "Quickly!" Each of us turn a corner to run through a round opening surrounded by stone. It's shaped as a door. Boromir abruptly stops right at the very edge as Legolas and I catch up and pull him back.
"Gandalf" I hear Aragorn's voice nearby.
"Lead them on, Aragorn" Gandalf places him in charge now. What did that mean? Would this be the last time we see him again? "The bridge is near" I look over at the long stone bridge ahead. "Do as I say! Swords are no more use here" We all hurry down a long set of a stone staircase while turning every corner. As we reach halfway to the staircase, it seems broken in half. A space between both parts. We would have to jump in order to continue on.
"I'll go first!" I shout.
"No, Dalia! What if you fall?!" Legolas worries. I sigh, getting frustrated.
"We don't have time for this!" I bark at him and jump over landing perfectly on the other side. Legolas sighs of relief. "Come on! Let's go!" I yell at the others. Legolas then jumps over landing right next to me, giving me a peck on the cheek. I blush as I watch the others while Legolas turns to them.
