We all ran outside. Me taking only four steps before falling to my knees, sobbing. I never experienced loss before in my life, so this hit me, hard. Legolas just stood next to me with tears in his eyes. "Legolas, get them up." Aragorn said. He did not look sorrowful at all. "Give them a moment, for pity's sake!" Boromir told Aragorn, only wanting to mourn Gandalf's death. "By nightfall, these hills will be swarming with orcs. We must reach the woods of Lothlórien. Come, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli. Get them up." Aragorn argued back. It is true, we cannot stay here and risk our lives. Legolas walked over to me and stood me up. He then enveloped me in the biggest hug that he has ever given me. "We must go, my love. We cannot linger." We whispers, stroking my long red hair. I nodded, wiping tears off of my face. "Frodo? Frodo!" I hear Aragorn yell, so I look over at them. Frodo just looks back at Aragorn with tear-filled eyes. We all now start to walk off.

We now see the woods, so we start jogging there. These woods are beautiful. They look more lively than back home. Everything is green! "Beautiful." I whisper. Legolas looks at me and smiles. "Not as beautiful as you, though, my love." I smile, my cheeks burning.

"Stay close, young hobbits. They say that great sorcerers live in these woods. An elf-witch of terrible power. All who look upon her fall under her spell and are never seen again. Well, here's one Dwarf she won't ensnare so easily. I've got the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox!" I hear Gimli say. This Dwarf is funny! I wonder why we were taught to hate each other...

All of a sudden, we were surrounded by elves, they all had their bows ready to shoot. Legolas goes in front of me, in an attempt to protect me, his bow out too.

"The Dwarf breathes so loud, we could have shot him in the dark." I hear. Turning to see who said that, it was Haldir! I remember hearing about him when i was just an elfling. "Haldir o Lórien. Henio, aníron, boe ammen i dulu lîn. Boe ammen veriad lîn." Aragorn begs to him in elvish. I hope that Haldir would understand, but right now, Haldir looks unconvinced. "Aragorn. These woods are perilous. We must go back." Gimli says, scared. At this point, I zoned out, not listening anymore, thinking of what they would do to us. I just hope we will be okay. Legolas took my hand, taking me out of my trance. "He wants us to follow him, my love." He says. I nod my head, thankful that he is taking us in. Helping us.

We reach Lothlórien at nightfall. It is so beautiful! Staircases are twisting around the trees, and the moon makes a blue hue.

We stood on one of the many platforms in the trees, waiting for Galadriel. Galadriel, along with Haldir, came walking towards us. They had made a bright light, almost blinding me! "Eight there are here, yet nine there were set out form Rivendell. Tell me, where is Gandalf? For I much desire to speak with him." Haldir asks. Nobody wanted to say anything, fir our grief overtook us all. "He has fallen into shadow." Galadriel states. Everyone, still silent. I almost begin to cry. "The quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little and it will fail to the ruin of all." She says. Then, I hear a voice in my head.

"You are afraid. Afraid to lose Legolas. Do not be worried. For he is very talented." I smile a little at that, instantly relaxing.

"Yet hope remains to the company that is true. Do not let your heads be troubled. Go now and rest. For you are weary with sorrow and much toil. Tonight you will sleep." She says to everyone.
