It's been weeks and still no sign of Merry or Pippin or the Uruks that have them. Although, we know for certain that we are headed in the right direction. Aragorn's incredible gift of being able to tell where people and things have been, Legolas's remarkable heightened senses and my Psychometric abilities are leading us into every correct location. We are now running up a hill. As I reach the top, I notice Aragorn lying comfortably on a giant stone. He had his ear upon it, as if he were listening to something.

"Their pace has quickened" He recounts, slowly beginning to lift himself up. "They must have caught our scent" He turns back to Legolas, Gimli and I. "Hurry!" He shouts as he runs off. I turn around to see Legolas making his way up.

"Come on, Leg!" I call to him.

"I'm coming as fast as I can, my love!" He replies, happily. I smile warmly to him as he finally catches up to me. He gently touches my cheeks with both hands, pulling me in for a kiss. It was very sweet and passionate. As we pull away catching our breaths, we see Gimli now at the bottom of the hill. Legolas flashes me a bright smile before turning back to him.

"Come on, Gimli!" He yells right before running off, I am following behind him. We are traveling for the next few days until we finally come across an empty path we believe the Uruks and the hobbits have passed through.

I come to a stop as I see Aragorn kneeling down, holding a piece of jewelry that is shaped as a leaf. A leaf of Lorien to be exact. Legolas is standing next to him taking a good look at it.

"They may yet be alive" He says, full of hope. They begin to walk off as I follow behind them.

"Less than a day ahead of us. Come" Aragorn invites. Our walk quickens to a jog as we hear a huge thud to the ground and groan from behind. Legolas looks over his shoulder.

"Come, Gimli! We're gaining on them!" He encourages as he starts running farther.

"I'm wasted on cross-country. We Dwarves are natural sprinters" He explains. I laugh. "Very dangerous over short distances" As we hurry up another hill filled with medium sized stones, I go near a particular one touching it while closing my eyes. I can see tons of Uruks passing by as Merry and Pippin are desperately holding onto their shoulders. I open my eyes and let go.

"They have passed through here" I recall.

"Then they must have not been far from there at some point" Aragorn points out, gazing towards our large and glorious view of grassy and rocky land. "Rohan" He breathes. "Home of the Horse-lords. There's something strange at work here. Some evil gives speed to these creatures. Sets its will against us"

We run and hop over stones, heading further down. Legolas rushes past us, making sure he is front and center. I can tell he sees something in the distance.
