I am participating in the Tiny Awards hosted by kcb820. There was a challenge in which you pick a word from a list and write a poem about it... without saying the word. so here's my attempt at this, I hope my fellow awardsers can guess this. I hope you enjoy!

"Please come in now,"
Calls the lady from the door,
She doesn't seem very happy,
She treats her job as a chore.

She leads me to a chair,
And asks me to lie down.
She pulls a mask over her face,
Covering her frown.

"Open up wide," She says
As she pokes around inside,
This will go on for a while,
I have much time to bide.

After what seems like forever,
A jolly man comes in,
Unlike the grumpy nurse,
On his face displayed is a grin.

He is the man in charge
And he doesn't seem like a jerk.
While his hands are in my mouth,
He asks me, "where do you work?"

Because I cannot speak,
My mouth is not free,
I mumble some gibberish,
The jolly man says, "ah, I see."

This happens every time,
More consistent than gravity,
Whenever I go to the doctor,
Who cleans my oral cavity.
