Monster

Tony Stark's POV

I can't believe that the girl sleeping in front of me can cause so much destruction. She nearly destroyed the whole training room.Bucky shot her with a tranquilizer before she destroyed everything though. Skyler must learn control of her powers! She doesn't realize how powerful she truly is. She can destroy buildings, roads, cars, the ground, etc.

"Tony, I'm going to wake her up" Dr. Banner told me.

"Bucky, if Skyler freaks out again you need to try to calm her down or restrain her." I demanded.

Dr. Banner poked something in her arm and then I saw her eyes open.  I walked slowly towards her so I didn't frighten her.

"Skyler, do you remember what happened?" I asked calmly.

"Yeah..." she said guiltily.

I heard the door open and saw a frightened Peter in his suit. I told him he had to wear his suit when he was here.

"Mr. Stark, what happened to the training room" he yelled, "The windows are broke, the walls have cracks and holes, the..."

Skyler's face had horror all over it.

"I...did all of...that." she stuttered.

"You have powers!" Peter yelled.

"I'm a monster" she screamed as the room began to shake. She tried to run away, but Bucky grabbed her. She broke his gun and used it as an opportunity to run away. As she ran the whole building shook. Pieces of ceiling were falling off. She was going to destroy my whole facility!

Skyler's POV

I ran as quickly as I possibly could. Everyone was chasing me and I saw the looks of fear on their faces. They feared me! I made it to the front entrance. I focused my energy on breaking the door. I broke it, but I also broke the dart that was about to hit me. I rushed out the door with everything beginning to break around me. The wind was blowing my hair everywhere. I ran into an ally and didn't see anyone around me. Just as I was about to catch my breath, something grabbed me and I went in the air. They let go once we reached the top of a building. I saw the red of their suit and knew it was Spider-Man.

"Skyler, you need to come back" he yelled over the strong wind.

"You saw what I did" I screamed as the building began to shake, "I am a monster!"

"You are not a monster don't ever say that" he said, "You just don't know how to control your powers yet."

"I have tried and it just ends in destruction" I said, "You should just forget you even knew me."

"Skyler, you are beautiful, funny, and kind." he said sweetly, "I could never forget the most amazing girl in the world."

The building stopped shaking and I felt tears come down my eyes.

"That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me" I cried.

"Skyler, I want to show you who I really am"

I watched as he pulled his mask off to reveal a teen boy with brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes. He looked like he was my age.

"My name is Peter Parker and I'm 15 years old"

"I'm 15 also and..."

Peter leaned in and kissed me.

"Peter there is something else you should know" I said, "My dad is...Tony Stark."

"He is going to kill me for kissing his daughter"

"I won't let him" I said as my stomach grumbled loudly.

"Skyler, do you want to...go get some food?" he asked nervously.

"Sure, where do you want to go?"

"One sec, wait right here." he said as he put on his mask and swung from building to building.

After about 10 minutes, he came back with a bag in his hand.

"I thought we could have a picnic up here"

He emptied the contents of the bag. He placed a blanket on the ground and placed a box of pizza and some breadsticks on it.

"I know you are probably used to eating fancier but..."

"This is perfect" I responded.

We ate the food and then talked for about 2 hours. Peter was so amazing! He told me all about his Aunt and about his best friend Ned.
He made me forget about everything else. He didn't see me as a monster; he made me feel normal.

"Skyler, are you ready to go home?"

"Yeah"

I grabbed on to him as he swung us home. As soon he as we entered the building, my dad angrily ran down the stairs.

"Where the hell have you been?" my dad yelled as the rest of the Avengers came down the stairs.

"I was with...Peter"

"You didn't make her come back here" he said angrily, "I'm going to need the suit."

"No you are not taking his suit" I said as I made the ground near him crack.

"Skyler, your learning control" Nat said excitedly.

"Skyler, he could've gotten you hurt" he said as I broke his beer bottle.

"I can handle myself dad!" I yelled as i kissed Peter on the cheek and ran up to my room. My dad's got so angry when I kissed Peter, but I didn't care. He was not going to control who I could like. It was very dark in my room because there was no windows. I focused on breaking the metal covering my window and it broke off. Take that overprotective dad! Tomorrow was my first day of school. I learned that Peter went to the same school as me. I couldn't tell anyone about who my dad was or show them my powers. At school, my name was Skyler Smith. Midtown High you are about to meet Skyler Stark!
