"Did...did I just do that." Peter asked as he stared at his hands and then back at my hand.
I was as frightened as Peter was. How did that just happen?
"Dad, what's going on?" I asked, frightened by what happened.
"I have no idea. I've never seen anything like it before. I have a meeting to go to, but I will run some tests tomorrow . Oh by the way, I'm glad your her boyfriend Peter." He said putting emphasis on boyfriend.
How did he find out about Peter and I? We had not even told anyone.
"Mr. Stark, um...how do you know about us?" Peter asked as he gestured to himself and I.
"I know everything. I'm Tony Stark." he laughed.
I rolled my eyes at what he said. That's what my dad says to almost anyone who asks why or how he did something.
"Bye dad, love you." I called as Peter and I began to walk out of the lab.
"Bye, love you too." he called back.
Peter walked me to my bedroom, but we did not touch at all. I just wanted to feel his warmth as he held me close or held my hands.
Next Day I still had my pajamas on as I walked down the steps. Peter was eating a bowl of cereal in the living room.
"Skyler, can I take you somewhere today?" Peter asked, patiently waiting for my response.
"Sure. Is it a surprise?"
"Yes and you will love it." Peter replied excitedly.
I really want to know where we are going. It could be anywhere. I don't care where it was as long as Peter was with me. He made everything better.
"Ok, should I dress warm or cold?" I asked.
"Wear warm clothes." he replied almost instantly.
I nodded my head and went up to my bedroom. Peter said to dress for cold weather so I'm almost positive that this place is outside. I put on my plaid coat and paired it with some leggings. I applied some light makeup on and brushed my hair.

I quickly walked down the stairs and saw a smiling Peter, waiting for me at the bottom. He had on a leather jacket and plaid shirt over a graphic T-shirt. His hair was curlier than usual.

He looked so hot!
"You look so cute in that jacket." I said.
"Thanks you look amazing." Peter replied.
"Thanks. Are we going to walk to this surprise?"
"I could have swung us there, but...we can't touch." Peter said sadly.
"We can, but it would result in a light show for the citizens of New York. You ready?"I laughed.
"Yeah, let's go." Peter said.
Peter's POV
As we were walking I had to stop myself from touching Skyler so many times. I would try to hold her hand or push a piece of hair out of her face and then realized that I couldn't. It was killing me to not be able to warm her cold hands or hold her in my arms. I really hope Mr. Stark finds out a way for Skyler and I to touch without glowing. I know she will love the place I am taking her.
"Are we almost there?" Skyler asked like a little child.
"Yes, we are. It's right up here." I said happily.
We walked a little more and then reached the surprise. I saw Skyler's face light up when she saw the indoor ice skating rink. It was adorable to see her so happy. I told Mr. Stark about my plans and he decided to buy the whole rink so that it would be private. He even had some people decorate it with lights and other decorations to make it even more perfect. I would actually be able to touch her without anyone seeing us glow. It was going to be perfect.

"Peter, this place is amazing!" Skyler yelled and walked over to hug me, but then stopped.
"We can touch. Your dad bought this place so we have it to ourselves." I said happily and she ran over and hugged me.
The glow appeared, but I didn't care. I was so glad to be able to warm her up and hug her again.

We didn't talk while we hugged because we didn't need to. We both just wanted to enjoy the moment. I could already feel her being warmed by me. I didn't want to ever stop hugging her, but I stopped when she asked me something.
"Peter, can we skate now?" Skyler asked eagerly.
I nodded my head and she ran on to the ice with her shoes still on.
"Skyler...wait!" I yelled.
She needed skates! I began to run towards her to stop her, but I watched with horror as she began to lose her balance. Just as Skyler was about to slip and fall on the hard ice, she levitated in the air and then slowly went back down to the ice. ———————————————————————— Hello readers!
