Baby, It's Cold Outside

"Dad, we aren't ready for an attack like that!" I yelled.

"We will have to be ready. We don't know the exact date, but it will be soon."

"Mr. Stark, it's almost Christmas!" Peter said like a little child.

"I know, I hope they don't attack on Christmas either, but they might." my dad said sadly and looked at me.

I had never experienced Christmas during my childhood. This was my 1st real Christmas and I didn't want Ashley or her mom to ruin it for me. She always ruins everything for me!

"I'm...going...to go." I cried as I walked out the training room door.

I could hear Peter chasing after me. I picked up speed and finally made it my room. I opened the door, got inside my room, and then locked the door. Then, I put my piece of metal against the door. When I was sure that no one could get in my room, I put Netflix on. I decided to watch A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding.

"Your watching without me." someone said as I could tell they were behind me.

I slowly looked behind me and Peter was hanging from my ceiling. How did he get in? My door never opened.

"How...did you...get in?" I said, very confused.

"I teleported!" Peter said happily.

"You can teleport! That's so cool!"

Peter got down from the ceiling and sat down next to me. We watched A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding together. It was way better with someone to watch with. Peter enjoyed it a lot more than I thought he would. Watching with him, made me forget all about the attack.

2 hours later (Peter's POV)

After the movie, Skyler laid her head on me and fell asleep. I really hope she gets to have a Christmas like she wanted. I got the perfect present for her. She will love it. I didn't want to wake Skyler up, so I decided to sleep too.

1 week later

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and no one has decorated at all. Everyone is getting the weapons ready and training. Mr. Stark won't let Skyler or I leave the facility so I can't even take Skyler out anywhere. I have barely even seen Skyler because either she was training or I was. If the attack happens, I want it to happen tomorrow. I was about to go downstairs, but my phone rang. I answered it.

"Peter, you need to get to the training room now!" Mr. Stark shouted.

I ran as quickly as I could to the training room and then opened the door. There were Christmas decorations everywhere, a massive tree covered in lights and ornaments, presents were under the tree and around it, a whole table of food, and a stage for karaoke.

"Surprise!" Skyler yelled and hugged me.

"You guys...did all this." I said as I wiped tears from my eyes.

"We wanted to give you a Christmas in case we are fighting enemies on Christmas."  Mr. Stark said and I hugged him.

He hugged me back.

"Peter, let's do karaoke!" Skyler screamed.

I nodded my head and went on the stage with Skyler.

"What song should we sing?" I whispered.

She whispered back to me. I nodded my head and we began to sing.

(Everything in parenthesis is what Peter sings)

I really can't stay (but baby, it's cold outside)
I've got to go away (but baby, it's cold outside)
This evening has been (been hoping that you'd drop in)

So very nice (i'll hold your hands, they're just like ice)

I held her hands and warmed them up

My mother will start to worry (beautiful what's your hurry?)

My father will be pacing the floor (listen to the fireplace roar)

So really I'd better scurry (beautiful please don't I wish I knew how (your eyes are like
starlight now)

I looked into her gorgeous eyes.

To break this spell (i'll take your hat, your hair looks swell)

I ought to say, no, no, no sir (mind if I move in closer?)

At least I'm gonna say that I tried (what's the sense in hurtin' my pride?)

I've gotta get home(but baby, you'd freeze out there)

Say lend me a coat(it's up to your knees out there)

You've really been grand (i thrill when you touch my hand)

I held her hand and we both glowed.

But don't you see? (how can you do this thing to me?)

We finished and everyone clapped. We were about to bow, but then the alarm went off.
