Happy Tears

"Skyler, I...I remember everything. I am so
sorry for all the horrible things I did to you. Lilith stole my sister and I from our real parents when we were babies. She made us believe that she was our mom and turned us into her personal ruthless soldiers. Brittany began to remember little details about who she really was which made Lilith furious. Lilith inserted some kind of poison into us that would begin to activate when our memories came back." Ashley cried as she hugged me.

I didn't realize it at first, but then I realized that tears were falling down my face too.

"You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Is there a way to get the poison to stop activating?"

"Sadly, no. The poison will stay activated until...I'm dead."

"I will not let you die! There has to be something to stop it!" I yelled.

"Skyler, what's...wrong!?"Peter busted open the door, saw Ashley, and then became covered in flames.

"Peter! Stop!" I screamed as loud as I possibly could.

Peter looked at me and made the flames go away.

"Skyler, you...you can't trust her. She is nothing but cruel and heartless. She has tried to kill you and you are in the same room as her."

"Ashley, wait!" I called as Ashley ran out of the room with tears falling down her face.

I punched Peter in the shoulder.

"Why did you do that?" Peter asked, holding his shoulder in pain.

"Peter, Lilith brainwashed Ashley when she was a child! That is why she has been acting all mean. Also, she could...die from poison inside her that activated because she got her memories back."

When I finished, Peter was crying.

"Oh my god. I'm such an idiot! I have to go apologize!" he cried and super sped to Ashley.

Peter's POV

I can't believe I was a jerk to Ashley and she could possibly be killed by the poison inside her at anytime. After knocking on her door for a while, she slowly opened the door and invited me in.

"Ashley...I am so sorry for..." I was about to finish, but then she cut me off.

"It's ok. You didn't know. I was a horrible person while I was brainwashed and...Ow!"

I watched in confusion as she switched back and forth from being her normal teenage self to an adult.

"Ashley, are you ok? What's wrong with your powers?" I asked.

She broke down into tears and curled into a ball in the corner. After switching for a while, she stopped switching, but looked like an adult.
I was about to ask her about why she was upset; however, I could see part of her mouth and it wasn't a frown. She had a small smile forming on her mouth.

"I'm finally the real me!" she cried happily and collapsed on the cold floor.

Hello readers! I am sorry that it took long for this chapter to be released. Also, there won't be any pictures because I don't have enough time to find and edit them. I have been working on my Open Novella entry and I have had lots of homework and studying to do.
