"Peter...how did that...just happen?" she asked, looking frightened.
"I...don't know, but I...think I did it."
When she levitated, my hand glowed and when she went back to the ground, it stopped glowing.
"Try to do it again?" she suggested as she walked off the ice.
I held my hand out and imagined Skyler levitating. Nothing happened.
"It's not working." I said.
"Try it again, but focus on something that makes you happy."
The main person who made me happy was Skyler. I closed my eyes and held my hand out, thinking of my memories of Skyler and I. I remembered when I sang to her and she sang to me. I thought of all the times I made her laugh and smile. Lastly, I thought of us hugging and kissing.
"Peter! Put me down!" she yelled.
I opened my eyes and she was almost touching the ceiling. It worked!

"I'll try." I replied.
I closed my eyes and she floated back down to the ground. She quickly ran over to me.
"Peter, you have new powers!" Skyler said happily.
"I know. Do you think they have something to do with the glow?" I asked curiously.
"Maybe, but...can you show me how to ice skate? I've...never done it before." she asked, changing the subject.
I nodded my head and grabbed us each a pair of ice skates.
Skyler's POV
Peter showed me how to put on the ice skates. I took off my boots and put on the skates.

I can't believe I almost fell in front of Peter. I've never ice skated or even skated before. I'll probably fall a lot more.
"You ready?" Peter asked as he held out his hand.
I grabbed his hand. As my hand touched his, the glow appeared. He slowly led me out to the ice.

"Peter, can I watch you ice skate so I can know how to do it?"
He nodded his head and brought me over to the wall.
I watched as he pushed off with his foot and moved around the ice. He leaped in the air and landed perfectly. He didn't fall once! I began to get really nervous as I watched him. What if I fall? What if I crash into something?
"Now, it's your turn. I'll hold your hand if you want." Peter glided over to me.
I did want him to hold my hand, but I wanted to show him I could do it myself.
"I want to try by myself first." I said as I took my hands off the wall.
I pushed off the wall like Peter did and tried to keep my balance. I did a spin, but almost fell. Once I got the hang of it, Peter began to skate beside me.

After a while, I could keep up with him as he skated around the rink. I felt as free as a bird. I skated towards Peter and laced my fingers with his fingers. He spun me and then dipped me. The glow was stronger than it normally was.
"I love you, Skyler." Peter said as he kissed me on the cheek.
"I love you too, Peter." I whispered as I placed my hand on the side of his face and my lips met his.
As we were kissing, we heard the click of a camera. ———————————————————————— Hello readers! I meant to post yesterday, but I didn't get to finish my chapter. This chapter is shorter than my normal chapters, but I didn't have enough time to do a longer chapter. I will be going home in a couple days so then I will be posting when I normally post.
