Homura lay back on the ground, staring up at the sky of fog above her. So this was the end. It was easier than she thought. Maybe dying while fighting a witch wasn't too bad.
A harsh cry jolted her out of her thoughts. Turning her head to the side, Homura saw a black clad figure running towards the rearing witch. The three glittering silver claws gleamed oddly in the fog, as it was brought, crashing down Ophelia's back.

Ophelia screamed, her mount rearing up again, its metallic whinny echoing around the fog. Ophelia turned to face her new attacker, as Albertine darted forward to heal Ophelia. Kirika glanced to the side, seeing Albertine. Immediately, she thrust her arm towards Albertine, and the small, childish witch slowed down, moving more slowly. Kirika on the other hand, was darting towards Ophelia, her lithe figure blurring at the speed she was running. Reaching Ophelia, she slashed again at the witch, as her mount reared and pranced away, backing away from Kirika. Albertine still struggled to reach Ophelia, as her movements grew slower and slower, the closer she got to Ophelia. Kirika slashed at Ophelia, but missed, as the witch's mount pranced away, neighing fearfully. From Homura's point of view, it looked as though Kirika was just standing there, but as she fought, she seemed to get faster and faster, until she was almost a black blur, lined with silver.

"She's fighting Ophelia!" Juubey's surprised voice cried, as he watched the big screen in front of him. Kyubey was behind him, looking up from the energy levels statistics.

"How's she doing?" Kyubey padded over to site next to Juubey.

"She's tangling them in magic," Juubey replied, "Her magic is getting caught on the fog. We can harvest it, and use it." Kyubey nodded, slipping back to the energy statistics.

"I'll just harve- Hold on." Juubey looked up in concern.

"What?" Kyubey was staring at the energy statistics in surprise.

"The energy is disappearing for some reason, I haven't even harvested it yet." Looking up, Kyubey saw the big screeen. On the screen, Ophelia's candle seemed to glow brighter and stronger, as she danced away from Kirika's everlasting blur, occasionally getting struck by the claws, but still constantly moving.

"She's getting stronger," Kyubey noted, "How- She's absorbing the energy!" Juubey looked up in alarm.

"What do you mean?" Kyubey gestured towards the screen with his fluffy white tail.

"Ophelia's getting stronger, even though Albertine hasn't been able to reach her yet. The energy level is still the same within the labryinth, but it isn't harvestable, meaning it's in one of them. Magical girls cannot absorb their energy back into them, so it can only be Ophelia. She's drawing the energy from the fog around her." Juubey stared at the screen for a few seconds, motionless.

"What do you want me to do then?" Jyuubey's voice was slightly confused.

"Is there any way. Any way. You can stop Kirika and Ophelia from fighting, or finishing the fight off soon?" Jyuubey considered this briefly.

"I could combine the witch merge one of my most talented incubators has created, with Opheline, like I suggested earlier. I can't think of any other way." Kyubey nodded.

"Very well then, it should do."

"Okay," Jyuubey replied, "I'll just call her up." Padding over to a connection pad, he spoke into it.

"Lyubey of section 1A, please come up to the central control rooms now. Lyubey of Section 1A." Cutting off the connection, Jyuubey padded back to Kyubey.

"She should be here any minute now." Jyuubey informed.

Yuuki stopped midstep, glancing at her surroundings coolly, watching it all through slitted eyes. Plants and venus fly traps marched towards her in step, their heads bobbing in rhythm, as their feet of roots slapped on the ground towards Yuuki. As they approached her, she instinctively leapt up, swinging her scythe in large slashing motions, slicing the fly traps, cutting them over and over again, her berserk mode set off. A screech sounded from the far side of the room she was in.

The witch, Nova, took the form of a flower, in the form of a young girl. Her labryinth was grassy, full of greenery, like a cold, tropical jungle. Cold because the feeling of despair lurked everywhere, opposing the sight of tropical greenery.
The small witch wailed, and more Venus fly traps came, slapping their way towards Yuuki. Blind with rage and anger, Yuuki slashed blindly, feeling the triumph every time she cut something. She could feel no pain, nothing could stop her.
The wail came again from the witch. She began running, trying to escape the merciless magical girl. Yuuki gave chase, swinging her scythe, and trying to hit Nova, as she ran, but the witch was nimble, deftly running around trees and bushes, while Yuuki, charging after her, only managed to hack and slash numerous bushes and trees. When she finally stopped, the labyrinth represented a logging site, covered in debris and fallen trees.
Nova had also stopped, but as she stopped, another roar came screaming out, shaking the air. A black, cobra-like witch came snaking out of the foliage, its forked tongue playing a game of hide and seek. Yuuki blinked. Her magic was fading, the magic that numbed all the pain, and made her invincible. Frantically, she tried to summon her magic again, trying to numb her pain and feeling.
The black cobra witch, Celia, was the witch of suppression. Her golden eyes were filled with hate and cruelty. A merciless killer.
The proud head reared up, howling a challenge. As she did, Yuuki could feel something erupting out of her, but it made her feel better. Until the pain came.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" She screamed in pain, feeling as though something was exploding through her abdomen. Arching in pain, she could only watch in terror, as the darkness exploded out of her, landing in various forms. One was a dark vortex, threatening to bring pain to all those. Anther was a cowering trembling dark silhouette, clutching a scythe, a figure Yuuki realised to be herself. The third- The third was a dark person. A person who Yuuki knew all too well.
"S-Sayaka?" She whispered, lowering her scythe, reaching out to the shadow of darkness, of Sayaka Miki. She reached forward gently, afraid that, if she was too harsh, it might disappear for good.

Miku winced in pain, and she stumbled forward. Her soul gem was darkening, its bright hue darkening slowly, as she walked. She had used up so much magic, but she had to keep going. Her head spun, and she felt so dizzy. A bright glow alerted her, from her right.

Turning slowly, to look more carefully, making sure it wasn't just the result of a sore head, Miku blinked at the bright, pulsing light. A witch. Just what she needed. Once she had defeated it, she could cleanse her soul gem and she would be good as new. Walking slowly towards the bright, pulsing glow, she paused in front of it, desperately searching for a weapon she could use, without too much magic. Finally, she settled for Sayaka's sword. She could use swords, and it was small enough so that she didn't waste too much energy. Imagining the slightly curved blade, the golden handle, and dark pommel, she could feel the sword coming into existence in her hands.

@_Amaya_Akemi_ Hope you got your answer XD

So here's a riddle, for all you guys:

I love them when I have them

I hate it when they use it

I like how it's dangerous, but your best bet in certain times.

I know the riddle is pretty awful, but it was all I could think of, and I was bored. So, whoever figures it out, gets a...uh...well...I dunno...Um, the triumph of winning? Okay, no, I'll write a short story dedicated to them XD (Just tell me what kind of short story you want to be, preferably a Puella Magi themed one XD).
