AFTER THEY ENTERED THE CAVE, MASSAK STOPPED BEHIND THEM WHEN THEY REACHED THE HOLE IN THE GROUND. Raven, had to admit, she didn't particularly look forward to climbing down there and frowned as she threw a glance inside. "This is as far as I go." He then told Shane who stared at him with lack of understanding. "We're on the brink of a monumental event in human history. We're going to raise the most powerful immortal creature that ever was. Come on, our work's not done yet."

Massak looked at him unimpressed. "Mine is. You said get the kid and the witches. I did. I wanna get paid now." He stated and after a moment, Shane opened his bag and took out the tombstone before he handed it to Massak. Then he turned to Raven and handed her her thermos bottle, still half-way filled with cold coffee. "I was told you might need this." He then shrugged and with narrowed eyes, Raven took it from him.

The male with mustered them, tombstone in his arms. "I'll say a prayer for your souls." He said as a farewell before he left and Raven raised an eyebrow. It was comforting, really, to know that at least someone cared about their souls. Considering that Shane was about to awake an immortal witch determined on raising hell on earth, they'd need it. Sniffing her coffee carefully, Raven took a tiny sip from the bottle. Other than the odd metallic taste, which had been there the whole time, it seemed just fine. "You wouldn't happen to also carry the ring I lost when Massak attacked me, would you?"

Shane threw her a slightly confused look. "What ring?"

Before she could reply, Bonnie next to her walked to Shane. "That's what the tombstone was for? To pay off a mercenary?" She called out and Shane turned to her. "The core of that tombstone is made up of Qetsiyah's calcified blood. In some witch circles, that stone's more valuable than the Hope Diamond." He explained.

"So," Shane then spoke up, mustered them and looked back down the hole as he continued, "So, who wants to go down first?"

Raven took another gulp from the coffee as she raised her hand. "If we're going straight to hell, at least let me get over with it." She remarked before shoving the thermos bottle back into Shane's arms and walked to the hole. She threw Shane a look over her shoulder. "I hope you remembered to bring a harness and a rope."

🥀 Jeremy, waiting for Bonnie to reach the floor of the cave's lower chamber, watched Raven pacing around in silence. "What's wrong?" He finally asked, tentatively, as if he was afraid Raven would hex him to die for speaking to her after killing Kol. For a moment, the Salvatore witch considered ignoring Jeremy. Instead, she threw him a shrug. "You'll need to get your coffee machine fixed when you get home." She then stated. "That coffee's awful."

Slightly perplex, Jeremy stared at her for a moment. "Elena and you drank it the day before we left. It was fine then." Was all Jeremy could think of to say. Raven paused in her steps and turned to him. "Well, now it's broken. It tasted like metal and something swiped from the floor."
