AFTER SHE TOOK A SHOWER, SNEAKED INTO THE YOUNG FARM AND LOOKED AROUND THE SCENE IN THE MORNING, RAVEN SALVATORE SIGHED AS SHE POURED HERSELF A COFFEE IN HER KITCHEN. Appearantly someone from inside had unscrewed the gas line, waited for the gas to fill the room and blown them up with a lighter, and considering the context of the letter left for someone named April― the Pastors daughter, if Raven had interpreted their conversation at the farm correctly. The Pastor had believed that a greater evil was coming, specifically, that a war was ahead of them and their sacrifice was just the beginning. Which left Raven wondering who the hell that sacrifice was for.

Once again, she dialed in Adrian's number as Kol left the bathroom, hair damp from showering. "Adrian, call me back. This is not the best time to give me the silent treatment." Raven stated, before pressing her lips together for a moment, and added, "It's urgent, okay?"

"Still nothing?" The Original asked as he sat down on the kitchen island and Raven shook her head. "It makes no sense. I mean, usually we don't talk every day either, but when something happens we don't waste time for the other to freak out. And it's not a good sign that he doesn't return my calls. He never does that." She told him before sitting down as well. "I'm just worried about him."

For a moment, the two were quiet as Raven sipped her coffee before Kol looked at her. "You were out early," he stated casually before handing her the newspaper that the paperboy had brought. The headline read 'Faulty gas line leads to tragic explosion at Young farm'. "Did you find anything?" He then asked as Raven took another sip of her coffee. "Not much," she admitted. "I can tell you that the gas leak and the explosion were both caused from inside the building and were no accident. Also Pastor Young seems to be quite the fanatic, judging from a letter to his daughter. I mean, it could just be caused by compulsion. What I don't get is why. I mean why would the Pastor blow himself and the council up? He didn't strike me as the suicidal type and this cryptic letter doesn't look like that either."

"Looks like we'll just have to see and wait," Kol told her and Raven threw him a slight glare as she finished her coffee. He chuckled quietly. "I know you don't like that. But right now, there's nothing you can do."

"I know." Raven sighed and put the mug into the dishwasher.

"Although, there is something I can think of." Kol muttered as he hugged Raven from behind and the witch shook her head, smiling. "You're impossible," she muttered before she turned around and kissed him, putting her hands in his hair as Kol pulled her closer to him.

Raven barley had time to pull Kol's shirt over his head as Caroline started banging at the door from outside the apartment and Raven jumped up. "Raven, it's Tyler!" The blonde yelled from outside and Raven exchanged a quick look with Kol. Then she ran towards the door and pushed it open, facing Caroline. The blonde had a bewildered look on her face― her arm wrapped around Tyler who leaned against her and looked like he was half-dead. Ravens eyes widened as she saw the hybrid. "He was shot by this guy and he doesn't heal properly." Caroline told her friend and the witch nodded. "He can come inside. Get him between the kitchen island and the couch and not on the rug."
