CAROLINE, ELENA AND RAVEN WALKED THROUGH THE GYM AS THEY PREPARED THE PLACE FOR THE DECADE DANCE. Raven was fairly certain Caroline would be able to manage it perfectly, even though there had been no word from Rebekah and the gym was still a slight mess. "So, Alaric is trying to pull himself together, why is that a bad thing?" The blonde asked Elena and raised an eyebrow. "I just... I wish there was something I could do." The doppelganger sighed as they reached a table and Elena picked up a chandelier. "Where do you want me to hang this thing?"

Caroline threw the chandelier a glare. "You know what, if Rebekah wanted to hang this monstrousity she should have shown up to do it herself." She stated as she took the chandelier from Elena and handed it to a passingby student as if it was a dead rat. "Just no."

Caroline eye's then fell to where Matt and Jeremy were hanging up stars at the ceiling and her eyes widened. "What are you doing? You can't just hang them! They're supposed to trickle down." She exclaimed and Matt laughed. "Trickle down." He muttered to Jeremy, who laughed in answer.

Caroline smiled slightly. "Look at them all bromancy." She said to Elena and Raven still looking at Matt and Jerem. "Yeah I asked Matt to help Jeremy readjust. He got him his old job back at the Grill." Elena told her and Caroline turned to the doppelganger, slightly surprised. "That was nice of him."

Elena shrugged. "Jeremy has got a lot on his mind. The whole thing with Alaric has got him really stressed out." She told Caroline and earned a look from the two. "You sure it has nothing to do with witnessing you and Damon getting hot and heavy in a skeevy motel?"

"Which wasn't a sight I'll forget any time soon," Raven added. "And I doubt Jeremy will."

Elena threw Caroline a look. "I didn't tell you that so you could torture me with it." She pointed out and Caroline smiled widely. "Aww, what are friends for?"

Raven chuckled softly at her words, but turned away uncomfortably when Caroline continued, trying to casually throw innthe question while looking through the decorations. "So who are you bringing to the dance?"

"What do you mean? I thought we four and Bonnie were going as girl dates." Elena said, wiggling her eyebrows as she wrapped a black feather boa around her neck. "Bonnie has a date." Caroline then revealed and Elena looked at her. "What?" She then asked as she took off the feather boa. "Jamie called and wanted to see her so she asked him." The blonde told them and Elena nodded. "Hmm." She commented with a smirk.

Caroline looked up from her clipboard. "So here's a thought, why don't you ask Stefan?" She suggested and Raven laughed under her breath. "So that was where we were going with this," She said and Caroline threw her a look to silence her. Elena shook her head slightly. "I can't ask him on a date, I just made out with his brother."
