Jokers nightclub

The air seemed to be electrified as Harry slipped on his black jacket, he smiled at himself in the mirror.  Tonight he his black suit with white shirt under, a black bow tie undone hung around his neck.  Harry's auburn hair shone, he had a green streak hanging over his right forehead covering his lightning bolt scar.  "You look amazing Brother" Lucy said coming up behind him she smiled at him in the mirror.  "So do you sister." Harry said smileing at her.  "Why thank you sir." Lucy said laughing.  "I am so excited, this is going to be amazing." Harry said with a grin.  "I know right." Lucy said, she checked herself out one more time in the mirror.  Tonight she wore a shimmering gold dress, with black diamond pattern across it.  Her hair was up in two pony tails, just like her Mummy.  Lucy tonight even had the pink and blue tips in her hair.  On her feet she wore gold boots, she carried a small handbag with a tissue and a small lipstick case, this was all the make up Harley allowed.  

"Ya look great, come on lets beat Mum and Dad down stairs." Harry said laughing.  "They will be down there already." Lucy said.  "Na they are still in the bedroom." Harry said as he raced his sister to the stairs.  Harry climbed on the banister and slid down to the bottom.  Harry laughed wildly as he always did when he was having fun.  "Ya know I can not do that in this, don't ya?" Lucy said glaring at him.  "Ya can if ya want, I've seen ya undies before.  But I think Frost here would get a big shock." Harry said laughing again.  "You Miss Lucy look very grown up tonight, and when ya are grown up girl in a dress, ya never show ya undies." Frost said with a laugh.  "Thank you Frost, see harry I am a grown up girl now." Lucy said smileing at Frost.  "Are ya?" Joker asked as he paused at the top of the stairs.  "Daddy!" Lucy said as she reached the bottom she turned.  

Joker stood there in his usual dress for a night out.  A black suit white shirt, black bow tie undone like Harry.  He smiled a lopsided smile before he too slid down the banister just like Harry laughing all the way.  "Ah Puddin!" Harley said clapping her hands as she stood at the top of the stairs.  "Ya coming down Georges?" He asked with a smile showing his silver teeth.  "Not like that Mummy, you are a grown girl ya don't show ya undies." Lucy said with a smile at her.  "Now who would have told ya that?" Harley asked giggling, she of course knew it was frost, she wanted to make him sweat for a few moments.  "Frost." Lucy said with a smile.  "Well Frost know's best."Joker said laughing.  "He sure dose." Harley said coming down the stairs int the same dress as Lucy, only a little shorter, well a lot shorter.  Joker like to see her legs in high heals, and she loved to show em to him.  "Looks like we are ready my man." Joker said holding out his arm for Harley.  She giggled and slipped her arm through his, they left the house together all laughing.  

The two children stood in awe, they had never in their lives seen anything so glamorous before.  They stood in the door way to the club and took in the atmosphere before they had to hide out the back.  Joker thought it was time for them to go visit his world, well some of it. The lights shone, the dance floor sparkled like the ocean.  The bar stood in the corner shining from the white lights.  At the back of the club, behind the gold string curtains, was a red leather round bar seat with white table.   A mirror covered the back wall. This is where Joker sat to watch Harley dance, and do business with Frost.  

"Is that where you sit?" Lucy squealed sounding just like an excited Harley.  "Yes." Joker said as Lucy run over and sat down where Joker would sit.  "I like it." Harry said running into the room to the bar.  "I'll have a rum and coke thanks." He said to no one.  "Not today, ya can have a soda with ya sister." Harley said giggling as she got them for him to take over to the seat.  "Thanks Mummy." Harry said taking his drinks to the table to sit with his Dad.  Joker sat with his gold jewelry on and his gold jeweled walking stick.  The head came off and it was a knife under, very clever Harry thought to himself.   Frost sat over in the corner watching the back entrance to the club near where Joker sat.  

"I see ya got a exit right there." Lucy said laughing.  "Ya never know when ya going to need a quick get away." Joker said laughing.  "Really daddy." Harry said sipping his drink.  As he did the club opened the DJ turned up the music and the people began to arrive.  The bar staff were busy first off, but the dance floor was empty.  Harry's pulse raced, he was so excited.  "I think they need some encouragement  Harley." Joker said smileing at her.   "Yes Mr J." Harley said with a smile.  "Come on Lucy ya want to dance with me?" Harley asked smileing at the girl.  She was up in a second.  "Yes Mummy." She said running with Harley to the dance floor.   Harry watched his Mum dance his pulse raced,  this was just too much!!!

On the other side of the oceans, Dudley sat in the lounge room floor, he felt his pulse race, he could smell the beer, feel the beat of the music, taste the soda drink. "Why don't we have soda?" Dudley asked his parents who were tied up watching the tv.  "What Son?" Vernon asked tearing his eyes away form the tv.  "Why don't we have soda, I am sick of milk and juice.  I want soda." Dudley said looking at them.  "I will pick some up later, maybe tomorrow." Petunia said.  "No I want it now!" Dudley said standing to stomp his foot.  "Now boy calm down, Mummy said she would get some tomorrow for you." Vernon said.  "I don't want it tomorrow, I want it now!" Dudley said stomping his foot again.  "Well you can not have it now Dudley, you will have to wait." Vernon said.  As he did he watched Dudley his eyes grew large.  "Petunia!" Vernon yelled at her.  Dudley stood with a grape soda in his hand drinking it.  "Oh Vernon, Dudley you have to stop doing that." Petunia said.  "Why I like it." Dudley said.  "But it is wrong." Vernon said with disgust.  "Yes Dudley it is wrong to use magic." Petunia said.  "Don't tell him what it is Petunia." Vernon said.  "He already knows dear, he told me."Petunia said.  "Well please don't use the word in this house again." Vernon demanded.  "Yes Vernon." Petunia said.  They settled back into their chairs they thought that was the end of it.  But not so.  "Why does Harry get to go out and have fun?" Dudley asked.  "Harry who?" Vernon asked only half listening to the boy.  "How do you know what Harry is up to?" Petunia asked.  "Aunty Lilly told me." Dudley said.  "What!!!" Vernon said glaring at Petunia.  "What do you mean by that Dudley?" Petunia asked trying to be calm.  "What I said, Aunty Lilly said so.  She was here talking to me just then.  Harry is with his new family and they own a night club.  Aunty Lilly is not impressed." Dudley said drinking his soda.   "Oh my lord Vernon, what did we do?" Petunia asked laying back in her chair.  Vernon was looking around the room for Lilly he was ready to run.  "Where is she boy?" He asked looking around the room again.  "She's gone now." Dudley said.  "Petunia we have had a shock, go and put the kettle on, i need a tea." Vernon said laying back in his chair.  "Oh darn!  I missed that now." Vernon said glaring at the tv.   Petunia went to the kitchen to put the kettle no, she sat at the table and pulled out the last letter that Batman had sent them.  Maybe it was time to go and get Harry back.  She would talk to Vernon later, he had had a big shock tonight. 

Meanwhile back at the nightclub, the two children danced and danced with Harley.  Joker sat smileing at them showing them his silver teeth.  Frost had never seen him so happy as he was tonight, but Frost knew it was the calm before the storm.  Harry came to sit with Joker again, his drink was empty he was thirsty.  He waved his hand over the glass and it was full.  Joker watched in fascination  tilting his head to the side as Harry filled Lucy's drink too.   Joker laughed.  "He is a real chip off the old block.  Don't ya wish ya could do that Frost?" Joker asked.  Frost nodded.  "Yeah Boss, so cool." He said smileing at Harry.  But alas all good thing must come to an end, it was time for the children to go home before Joker did his business.  He kissed his two children and sent them off with Nanny, he would see them tomorrow.

As Harry was brushing his teeth getting ready for bed, he seen a boy in the mirror a boy who was not him.  A boy with a rounded face, green eyes brown hair with a part on the side.  "Hello." Harry said to the boy who just smiled at him.  "Who are you?" Harry asked, then a name came to him.  "Dudley"   Harry stopped brushing for a moment, he had to remember that name, he felt as though he should remember it.  He would ask Mummy in the morning about a Dudley, maybe she would know about the boy in the mirror.  But for now the excitement of the evening had worn off he was tired, so off to bed for him.  Tomorrow was another day to think about the boy called Dudley..............................................
