You stumbled into the bathroom. Who knew panic attacks came so easily? Your breathing is fast and shaky, your palms are sweaty, and the bathroom stall seemed to close in faster than you could comprehend. Voices echoing from nowhere telling you to kill, telling you your new assignment, telling you your mission.
You hear someone walk in. No, not now. Go away! Your mind screams. The footsteps seem far too loud.
A pause. "Hello? Is anyone in here?" Silence. "Heh, nevermind. I know someone is in here. What I mean is, are you okay?"
The awkwardness made you laugh. "Yes, now I'm okay." You really weren't, but you didn't know who this was. You touched your face. It was soaking. Had you really been crying, and for how long?
The person leaves. You don't. You sit in the stall, trying to calm down, but things just get worse. You can't leave. If you did, you'd listen to the voice. You'd kill someone. You'd hurt someone. Everyone would see you like this. Eventually, you find your breathing is more stable. Maybe it's ending.
You sat on the toilet and looked at your phone. 15 missed messages from Peter😂🕷. 7 missed Ecalls from Nedsicle🤦‍♀️.
You're in trouble. "Crap!" You whisper. If you left in the morning... your phone says the current time is 4:30. You had a panic attack...for 8 hours. That made no sense! Your phone rang.

You pick up the phone and brace yourself. You brush the Accept button...
"Hello?" You say.
Peter sighed, relieved. "Where have you been?
"Panic attack. For 8 hours." You reply.
"Well then... are you okay?" Peter asks, sounding hesitant.
"Yeah... I'm fine now," now reply, hoping he'll drop it.
"Hey, Y/N! You wanna go to The Coffee Shop?" Ned asks, sounding jittery, staticky, and far too loud.
"Ned, buddy, you don't have to yell." Peter says, sounding tired.
You giggle. "Peter, it's fine. I'd love go!"
"Well, I'll see you there." Peter replies.
"This is gonna be awesome!"

With a click of the phone, your fate was sealed
