It was a normal day for you, just finished your studies for the day. You were about to head to the bathroom when there was a knock on your room's door. "Come on in," you giggled, "it's not like the door is locked." You turned around to see Bucky of all people, looking like a guilty puppy.

"Oh! Hey, wasn't expecting you!" You chuckled nervously. Bucky sighed, and he sat down on your bed, patting a spot next to it, obviously motioning for you to sit. "Look, kid, I just wanted to say that, uh," then he met your eyes, "I'm sorry. I have nothing against you, or your family, and I had no right to provoke you that way." You almost felt bad. No, you felt terrible.

"I have to apologize too. I let my emotions get the best of me and it affected literally everyone in a twenty mile radius." Bucky let out a soft laugh as you continued, "It wasn't right and I seemed to apologize to everybody. That is except for you."

"And that's just fine, doll, I didn't deserve it then, but I'm glad you think I do now" Bucky said. You sat in silence for a while, it's what was needed. You and Bucky obviously weren't talkative people. "Thanks Bucky, I feel a lot better now for some reason" You both stood up, and just before he started to walk out, you decided that a hug was in order.

And by Bucky's reaction, you were right.

The next day was a Saturday, which meant that you usually go to the library with Peter, but you weren't sure about the stability in your relationship with him...

So you called Harley instead.

"Hey, new kid, wanna go to the library today?" You said, Harley groaning at the nickname. "I thought you said you wouldn't call me that anymore." You could practically hear his smile through the phone. And it made you smile. "Oh did I? I don't remember that" you said innocently. "Okay well, here's a deal, if I go to the library with you, you gotta stop calling me that? Please? Please? Pleaaaase" he whined. You laughed, "Fine, fine, just stop making that noise, it's weird." "Cool, see you at.. one?"

"Yeah, sure, see you then. Bye."

You flopped down on your bed. "Ugh, where are my brother and sister when I need them." Then you shot up. Wait, where ARE my brother and sister. "Uh, F.R.I.D.A.Y.? Where are the twins?" you asked quite panicky. "Peitro and Wanda Maximoff have been on a mission and are expected to come back in 1.4 hours, would you like to send them a message?" "Tell them that I love them and I miss them. And that if they were the ones that ate my sandwich, then I will stomp them" you added the extra part to make them laugh, but you weren't joking. That was your sandwich. And you will stomp them.
"Message Sent." Cool, I have to get changed now. Don't want to show up to the library in my nightwear.

12:45 is the time when I start walk to the library, coincidentally however, Peter was trailing right behind me. "Hey Pete, what's up?" I said, obviously noticing him there. "Y/N can we talk, like really talk. The past few days have been really confusing." Peter said, desperation lacing his words. "Yeah, sure. When I get back from the lib-" your phone pings, interrupting your sentence.

Harley K: Sorry to call off so late, but my girlfriend wanted to come over, can't say no to her! Sorry :(

I look up from my phone, one tear quickly slipping down my face. "Y-yep, P-Peter, I'm all e-ea-rs" I whispered, fighting back tears. I wipe your face, and turn to face Peter. Once again, centimeters away. We both just wanted our best friend back. "C'mon, let's talk on the way to the library" Peter whispered.

-

"You okay? Well, I know you're not okay. What I mean is, what happened?" Peter said. We had been walking towards the library, but no talking had actually been going on. It was a comfortable silence.
"I was being stupid and I thought some guy was into me. Turns out he had a girlfriend and I kinda feel.." I couldn't find the right words until "Jealous," Peter said, "and you don't want to bring it up because you feel like you'd just make things worse" he met my eyes. "Yeah, kinda like that" I breathed out.

Peter got closer to my face. And closer. And closer. And- BEEEP! "What the he-"
I say as I look down at my phone, wondering why it would ruin a moment like this. A message popped up on my phone, from Wanda! I'm hit with relief, I haven't spoken to them in forever it seemed.

Princess, we need you back at the tower. NOW!

That actually didn't seem reliving at all. "We got to go! Now!" I yell to Peter, and before he can respond, I've already picked him up bridal style and am sprinting towards the tower.

We enter the main lobby.
And no one is there.
Well,
That's what it seemed...
