AN: The beginning is really... PG13 my dudes
Your eyes glowing red as the Avengers fought themselves. It was devastating. Your sister tearing your brother's mind away, screaming and crying for her to stop. Captain Rogers had been shot multiple times by Natasha and he still managed to cling to life for two more bullets. The Hawkeye, as he was introduced to you, was fumbling with his arrows when he was electrocuted by an angry God in the sky. Peter crying as he kneels over Starks body, burnt and covered with webs. The remaining ones fought each other, and they fought until there were no more. And where were you? Standing powerful over it all. Over this massacre that you caused, you controlled it all.
THE FALL OF THE AVENGERS. All this control was exhilarating. You could be seen moving your hands as you would with puppet strings, the massacre below being your puppet show. And it felt amazing. All you could do was laugh. Laughing as everyone you loved was dying.Dying at your own hand.
Laughing as a bullet entered your back..
A blood-curdling scream filled the room. You sat up, drenched with sweat. You feel like you can't breathe. Your vision is blurry at the moment so it takes a while to get used to the dark. You look around for the clock.
3:38, it reads
It's fascinating that no one heard you scream, but it also meant that everyone was probably dead asleep and you didn't want to deal with explaining your dream anyway.
Since you couldn't go back to sleep, you decided to put on some yoga pants and a crop top. Look at the maps Tony sent you on your phone for a gym or a training facility. "Level 3-1G" you breathe out. You leave your phone on your dresser to charge. After looking around aimlessly for what seemed like hours, you find the gym and some treadmills. To ensure no one else wakes up, you test the noise level of one of the treadmills. It's surprisingly quiet, as you start it up.
•Thirty Minuets Later•
"You have ran for 2,500 miles",the treadmill says, "New Record Set." It's only been thirty minutes. Either the Avengers don't use the treadmills or you just sent the new TreadFit record.
You run for a couple more hours until sunrise. It never occur to you how early you woke up. All that means it that you'll have a killer nap later. Yes! You thought. As you checked your phone for the time, you steadily got off the treadmill, leaving an not-so-impressive(to you, anyway) record of 150,000 miles.
"Hey," called an unfamiliar voice from behind me. You whipped around so fast that my hair hit my face. "Shoot, sorry one second" You apologized for being so clumsy. A soft chuckle could be heard from the man. Once you got your Silver Black-Tinted Mop you called hair out of your face, you were able to see the voice.
It was the man with the metal arm, the one you bumped into a couple days prior. He had the same design on his arm that you did tattooed on your back, a red star. "Hey, I'm guessing you're the new "Magic Speedy Girl" Steve has been telling me about" he said with a bit of an attitude. You didn't know how to reply, but you found your voice soon enough. "Yeah, and?" You made sure to emphasis the and. You were so proud of yourself, being all confident. He wasn't very proud, by the look on his face.
His face turned to an unamused frown "What can you do exactly? Why are you so important, 'cause from what I see, you can run fast. Thats all, and we already have an annoying fast freak and a panic-inducing weirdo" he explained, quite rudely. "We don't need another dramatic, fragile, unexperienced," he stomped closer with every insult, "unimportant baby!"
"You've seen nothing, you can do nothing, you are nothing. You are unoriginal." You didn't care for his words and you shrugged them off, "I've heard worse." You didn't like that he was yelling, though. You checked the clock on the wall. 6:30. People would start to wake up, if they haven't already. You tried to walk away, but he grabbed your arm. He got real close way too fast. "Please, let me go" you said calmly. He didn't acknowledge your words, he got real close to your face. "Honestly, I think all three of you are worth nothing." You pushed him off of you with ease. "Please leave me alone," you say through gritted teeth. "Bet you've never felt loss, pain, torture, hm?" He taunted.
That set you off.
With a snap of you fingers, you trapped him in a sphere-like, prison. You threw your anger, your fear, and your corruption into it. You threw all your experiences and trauma. You made him feel like a grain of sand, lost in a tidal wave. You didn't care that he was screaming loud enough to wake the rest of the base. It was a lullaby, in its own way.
You have seen nothing?
You couldn't take it?
You were nothing?
This man didn't know a thing about you.
You turned the volume up. The power of the prison filled the room with red light, fear crackling through the air. Your hair started float behind you, your feet rising of the floor.
His screams turned into shrieks, then into dead silence.
He had fainted.
You showed him who's boss. You made him see his fears, and his corruption.
You later swore it was out of anger. That he was purposely pushing you. He wanted to happen. And let me tell you...
That was seemingly the biggest mistake of your life.
