A/N: There is a panic attack cuz I got carried away. So yeah umm yeah.Enjoy
In the morning, you got dressed, but in a different room. You weren't at the motel, all your stuff had been moved over here. You had a new room here at the Avengers Tower.
You were putting on a "cute little" red crop top, as Wanda described it, and skinny jeans. You didn't want to go to school, since you would have to see Peter again. You didn't want to see his face. You didn't want to see him knowing he betrayed you. He knocked you out and left you to S.H.I.E.L.D, not knowing what they would do. It was almost obvious that he didn't feel the same way.15 missed calls from: Peter😂, your phone said. You deleted the notification and scoffed.
Turns out, You couldn't have talked to him. Even if you wanted to.

Monday Morning-"H-Hey! Y/N, wait up!" And there went all your efforts to avoid him. But it didn't help you had all the same classes with Peter and Ned. You keep walking through the hallway, not noticing the tears forming in your eyes. You get to your classroom and set your things down. You turn around to find your face literal centimeters from Peter's. You have nowhere to run now, so you give up.
"What? What is it that you could POSSIBLY want, Parker?" Poison was laced throughout your words.
Peter sighed, knowing that you would never forgive him for his actions. "I know you probably hate me, but I need you to listen. Please." Peter's volume lowered to a whisper, "Y/N, that's all I want. Please."
You were close enough to smell his "Refreshing Mint," gum in his mouth. You back up, just enough to avoid bumping into your desk, but enough to for him to, hopefully, get the hint and back up as well. There's tangible tension in the air between you as you observe him before giving an answer. He was obviously desperate. And sorry.
You sit in silence. "Fine." You said, your voice quivering angrily, "I'll listen, as long as you listen as well. Got it?"
His eyes lit up and he nodded quickly.
"We'll talk during lunch." He responded with his arms wrapped tightly around you, and you swore you could feel your heart start to flutter out in your chest.
...
You sit down where you normally do and wait for Peter and Ned. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes. You sigh. "And to think, I could trust this boy again." You pack up and walk to the library. After checking out a book, you get a text from Nedsicle🤦♀️
Where are you?
Library, why?
Peter's having a panic attack!
WHERE?!
Down by your locker, speedy. Where we used to go before lunch...
Be there in a sec.
It was rare when Peter got panic attacks. It was only you that could calm him down, and you knew that, but you didn't want to. However, you knew how it felt. The walls seemed to crush you and breathing was impossible. You can hear everything and nothing all at, and your mind would race to no end. Tears would flow to no extent. It's all too familiar.
When you got to your locker, he was just sitting there. He looked scared, almost like someone had just died right in front of him. It took 1 millisecond to be by his side, tearing up at the sight of your best friend, Peter Parker. You try to calm him down.
"Peter," you try and grab his attention as you run your hands through his hair, "I need you to look at me. Focus only on me. Only my eyes." His teary eyes flick up to yours.
"Good job, Peter. Now breathe. In and out. Can you do that for me?" In a shaky breath, he says, "This is -hah- stupid." His tear-stained face looking up at you is all it takes to make cry. "Why do y-you scare- scare me like this, P-Peter? It's not fair," You manage to say between sobs. You look at him. He's looking at you, with a just-got-done-crying-But-I still-want-you-to-be-happy smile.
He broke down right after that, but you were there to hold him. You and Peter just stayed there crying for nothing, but understanding everything.
