Early morning sunlight filtered through the window into Steve's room, spilling across the carpet and warming Steve's face as he slowly awoke, stretching and wincing as the blinding light hit his baby blue eyes.

He propped himself using his pale spindly arms as he looked around his familiar surroundings. Only one thing was amiss: Bucky. He then noticed the pleasant aroma that floated up his nostrils; the smell of frying bacon and hot coffee. God, how he loved the smell of coffee.

He pulled back his starch white sheets and swung his lanky form over the side over the bed, his bare feet flat against the cool floor. He realized he only had on some boxers and hurriedly grabbed his white cotton t-shirt, which lay on the floor. After putting it on and running his hands through his messy blond hair, he walked into the kitchen where he found a dancing Bucky at the stove. His hips swung side to side as he hummed a sweet tune and poured some steaming hot coffee into a burgundy red mug.

Steve stared at him in complete admiration until Bucky turned around, sensing another presence in the room. His mouth opened in a big grin, his eyes twinkling with their usual spark, which made Steve fall even more in love with him.

"Morning Stevie. Hope you liked what I cooked." Bucky handed Steve a prepared plate of eggs,bacon, and waffles. Steve grinned as he took the plate from Bucky.

"You didn't have to do this Bucky," Steve said as he sat down at the table located in the middle of the kitchen.
Bucky plopped down next to him, his proportions of food bigger than Steves. "Awe Stevie, it's okay. I didn't mind cooking at all for you. And me of course." Bucky laughed, the sound pleasing to Steves ears and making his heart flutter. The sudden urge to hug Bucky washed over Steve, and he acted on the emotion, wrapping his slender arms around Buckys arms and resting his head on Bucky's broad shoulder. Bucky was stunned for a second, but then smiled and laid a quick kiss atop Steve's head.

"I love you punk," Bucky said as he placed his cheek on top of Steve's head. "I love you too jerk."
