January 8th

Five days in a row. And not a single day was without Levi in it. I still don't believe how suddenly it all progressed, but soon after that picnic event, things got turned up a notch. Take of it what you may from the following entries.

January 4th - The One With the Hallucination

Guess what happened,

The rest of the picnic was, for the lack of a better word, NICE. It was just NICE and refreshing; that feeling of a sigh. There isn't any other way to put it; it is just the feeling of breath leaving your lungs as you gasp for fresh air, almost desperate but renewing at the same time. It was just that NICE feeling that made me wake up today feeling different. Feeling, well, NICE.

My eyes scanned the room. Alex was missing. Why was she up this early? Jarrod from bed 31 was  surprisingly quiet this morning, considering the normal cackle of his lungs.

Drifting in and out of sleep, I had noticed a figure suddenly appear. Through the narrow blurred gap that was my clouded morning vision I saw him standing there and smiling at me. Was I still dreaming? Surely this was a dream. How would he be able to sneak in, two hours before visiting times? More importantly, why?

I preferred dreaming about him, than actually having to exert energy in talking to him directly. "If you do hallucinate, it may as well be a guy who you find extremely attractive, as opposed to a killer clown." A statement that had slipped from my mouth as I slept, unaware that Levi was actually standing there, listening to me talk in my sleep.

"I wish you'd just hurry up and kiss me. I can't tell you how much I'd  been wanting to kiss you during the picnic. The sun dipping into the amber sky. Your face just sparkling in the diffused light of dusk." Please stop Tamara. STOP right now.

Of course I continued to speak, embarrassingly proceeding to relay our married life together. "Flowers? flower? Pssht, really? That's what you bought me for our one year anniversary. Come on Levi, you know how much I hate bouquets of flowers." Just kill me. Kill me now.

"Ssh, ssh, ssh..." He said whilst gently placing a finger on my lips. "Hey there sleepyhead, no one likes spoilers. Besides, I just came to see how unbelievably cute you look in the morning. I'll see you Daley."

With that I saw the figure disappear just as abruptly as it had appeared. Oh, how I wish he had laid a kiss on my lips instead. 'No one likes spoilers,' what is that even supposed to mean. Does it mean he just admitted to there being a plot in the first place?

I couldn't ask him, because he was gone before I could properly wake up.

January 5th - The One With the Flowers

So Levi showed up with a bouquet of flowers today. No, they weren't real flowers, they were BALLOON FLOWERS! I couldn't believe he hadn't just cast aside my earlier admission about hating flowers, as simply sleep blabber. He had actually listened to what I had to say.

There was still no sign of Alex this morning and it's not like I could just go venturing in the hospital. But Levi was something special and just his presence was enough to lure  me away from my concern for Alex.

Levi. A guy that can throw a blanket on any patch of grass and call it a picnic.  A guy that visits you at 5 in the morning just to say how cute you look. A guy that makes you a bouquet of balloon flowers, upon instruction that you didn't really like real flowers.
