Her Smell

Chapter 11

Cara's POV

To say I was shocked was an understatement. My Ashley is so serious, jealousy is apparent on her beautiful face and I know she is very curious of mine and Paris' relationship.

"She is a good friend, love. Nothing more and nothing less." I said while I turned to her to speak with her regarding this confession.

"So you are sucking faces with friends now? You sleep on her bed and intrude her insta live while you two cozied up on her bed?" Ashley asked while panting.

"Baby, I confess, I am not a saint. Paris and I go way back. She always got my back. Those kisses were by accident. The sleepover was a celebration together with other friends. You are the only one I am inlove with after two years. You are my sunshine, Ash. Please believe me." I said as I gather her up on my arms and whispered sweet words to her ear.

"I did not mean to intrude, Cara. I am just upset over photos of you and her. I know she is an important friend but, can you blame me? I don't want any misunderstanding between us. I am starting to fall deeply for you and I am afraid that I will fail again, that when you are done with me, I will be nothing but just another hook up foe you." Ashley said while escaping from my embrace and leaning on the window.

I understand her. I definitely know how hard it is for Ashley to come into terms with this new love of ours. I didn't argue further but I took her hand and entertwined it with mine. Uncomfortable silence engulf us as we were lost in our thoughts.

After 45 minutes...

"Ma'am what would you have for snacks?" I raise my head and took in the apperance before me.

"Oh! Can I have a sandwich and your  wine please. Don't wake her up, just give her the same as mine.

I glanced at the sleeping goddess beside me. Our hands are still holding hands and I don't really wanna interrupt her beauty sleep.

My thoughts wandered off to our previous conversation. How can I prove that what Paris and I have is over? Will she ever trust me again? Will I be a great partner? These questions keeps on bugging her and it might have been felt by Ashley because she started stirring on her seat.

"Hey baby. I am hungry. Is there any food in this big jet of yours?" Ashley said after opening her eyes. She called me baby, yay!

"I have already choose for your food. Are sandwiches okay?" I asked her after kissing her knuckles.

"Sounds great." Ashley said while trying to get her hands free.

I was about to respond to her when the stewardess came back with food in her hands. We ate in silence and I keep on glancing at Ashley.

"What?" she asked me while munching on her snack.

"Nothing. You are so beautiful." I anseered while looking into her blue eyes, reflecting my own blue-green ones.

"Hmmm thank you. But baby, don't think that I forgot our conversation. I believe you but I just hope that you really have eyes for me at these times. I am not really surprised if you are romantically involve with Paris, you are one amazing woman, baby and I too had fallen for you." Ashley said while looking in my eyes.

"Love, I will say this to you truthfully, I had developed a relationship with Paris in the past, i mean, we go out, we make out, we hang out but we never really labeled anything and we just casually see each other. This is why I don't really know what we were. We were friends with benefit, I guess. I am not so proud of it but it did happen. It may have caused you to question me but this is from my heart, each day that I spend with you Ashley Victoria Benson, I am falling deeply for you. It may be early but I know deep in my heart that I have found "the one" in you." I said truthfully while my tears are flowing on my cheeks and what happened next took my breath away.

Ashley wiped my tears and had took my face to look into her eyes. I can see the love on them and them she took my lips on hers. As her lips touch mine, I can feel the heat flowing in my veins. I was taken aback but not in the wrong way, I felt a kiss of an angel and I don't think I can get enough. I started to respond to it and what started as a sweet kiss turned into a passionate one. I bit her lower lip a bit so that she will open her mouth for my tongue to taste her insides and yes, I am correct, this is heaven.

After a few more minutes, I am still dazed when she pull back. A swwet smile grazed her mouth and I too reflected the same.

"Wow, that was heaven." I uttered after our searing kiss and I can see Ash turned red.

"I love you, baby. That was so sweet of you." Ashley said while smiling at me and I am officially obsess with this beauty and I cannot wait to make her mine.

I engulf her in an embrace and I just enjoyed myself with my angel.

Ashley's POV

I don't know what happened to me but the place and time didn't matter as she confessed in front of me. I have definitely fallen deeper for this gorgeous, lovable, english babe. Afyer she said those things I cannot control myself anymore. I had to taste, Cara. I needed this one moment to seal the deal. To make sure that I am ready to risk my heart for a new relationship. To be with a woman rather than a man. To believe that love is love.

After sometime we are now landing at LAX. The captain has announced our arrival and I can see that Poppy has gone out from the room at the jet.

"Ashley, you go with us, okay. Don't worry, they won't be able to publish anything with your face on if you don't want." Poppy said earning a questioning look from me.

"Yep, I forgot, yeah, as long as we are with Poppy's husband, they won't be able to publish anything because they will face lawsuits. They need his consent first and knowing him, he will be fetching us from the airport, that is how he love my sister." Cara explained.

"Oh, that sounds good but babe, I will need to be in Anaheim to visit my parents, wanna go with me?" I said as I was getting up from my seat.

"Sure, but isn't it too early?" Cara asked me.

"No it is not. It is better if my parents know that I am serious and that I am ready to start a relationship with you."I replied as I put my arm on her waist.

"True and yes, I am going with you." Cara said while putting hwr arm on my shoulder.

"Remi, are you going with me or are you staying at my place?" I asked Remi.

"I am going with you, Ash. I miss your mom as well." He replied while getting his hand bag.

"Sounds good. Let's do this then." I said as we get off the plane.
