Chapter 53-Sudden Change of Location, Absolute Happiness

Cara's POV

Ashley called last night and everything is good again. I have tied up my loose ends and totally ended things with Paris hoping to restore our friendship.

Today Ashley will be in New York and will be flying to Toronto later tonight while I have to be bavk in L.A. for the puma shoot for the new sports wear and go straight to Canada. It may seem impossible but I will try to have evrything done earlier so that I can be with her on the flight. I know that she will be taking the commercial flight as she refused my sister's offer to use the private jet.

I am now at the shoot location and I am taking over Puma's instagram. I was asking people what questions do they want me to answer and I got tons of them but my team sorted out the questions to ones that concerns the product.  I got alot of questions regarding my baby but since were being piblic and all, I didn't answer them but ended the session with an invite for the world premiere of Her Smell in Toronto.

We then packed up and Ashley called. "Hey babe. I'm done with practice earlier and I am on my way to the airport to Toronto. How are you,  baby?" She asked sweetly making my heart thump so hard on my chest.

"I am okay now that I have heard your voice. I was running a fever earlier but I think I'm better." I said telling her how my team was in a panic earlier due to my low grade fever.

"Are you still in L.A?" Ash asked me.

"Yes I am, babe. I just finished the shoot and we are packing up. Why?" I asked confused all of a sudden.

"Can you contact the pilot to have me fetch here in New York?" She asked me still confusing me of what she has in mind.

"Okay,  the plane should have alreasy been prepared. I did told them to have it ready if you changed your mind and have a comfortable plane ride to Toronto." I said and she chuckled.

"No baby,  I won't be in a flight to Toronto. I will be in a flight to L.A. so that I can take care of you. I did saw your instagram takeover with Puma and I know that you will somehow catch a cold. You were drench in sweat and with the rain as well and you were only wearing a sports bra except for the tracksuit of course. I will be there in 3 hours." She said making me gasped and excited at the same time.

"Really? You will do that for me?" I asked not believong her words for a second.

"Yes baby. I also miss you a lot and I wanted to see you earlier." She said and we ended the call.

Three hours and thirty minutes later...

Here I am in disguise at the airport entrance waiting for her. I only told her that my manager will do and get her but I can't help it. I miss her so much that I cannot wait at home.

After another 15 minutes there she is, smiling widely. She saw me and recognized me. Before she can go to me,  the paparazzi swarmed around her and I can see that her anxiety attack is starting. I ordered my bodyguards to body block the paparazzi and signalled my manager to take her to me.

"That was so crazy. Thank you." I heard her angelic voice again. She thank the guards and get in the car.

After settling in,  she faced me and hurriedly kissed my lips even if I have the disguise on. I responded with equal fervor and the car started to move.

"For a world class supermodel and actress,  I must say that disguise is so obvious honey." she said giggling but settled in my lap.

"I also wonder why paps didn't notice that it was me. I miss you, baby. I am so sorry for the past days." I said lowering my gaze but she held up my chin.

"I am so sorry too. I have come to terms with the whole thing and I also know that I went overboard so truce?" Ashley said as she pit her pinky finger in the air.

"Let us seal this deal with a kiss." I said and took her in my arms. We were kissing and making out when the driver said that we've arrived.

Ashley then ushered me inside and made me sit on my couch. "Where's your first aid kit?" She asked me.

"At the kitchen cabinet,  last drawer near the bathroom." I gave her the location of the kit.

She went back to the living room with the kit and took out the thermometer. "Here let me check you." She said and checked my temperature. 37.9• you really have a fever baby. You will rest for the remainder of the day and we will take the night flight to Toronto. You will also skip the prelaunch and be with us the next morning, okay?" She said really worried about my fever.

"How about we sleep for now baby? I have instructed Harry to wake us up when it is time to go. You looked so jetlagged babe and your eyes are dropping." I said as I glanced at the state she was in.

After 4 hours,  Harry woke us up and we decided to prepare for take off.  We arrived in Toronto at 6:30 PM and Ash will attend the prelaunch at 7:30PM.

I asked her to allow me to go with her bit she strongly disagreed to it stating that I should stay in bed so that I wilk be fine with attending the whole activity for the promotions tomorrow.

"Woah,  well,  aren't you too sexy for the evwnt?" I whistled seeing her appearance.

"Baby,  this is absolutely fine." Sbe said smiling.

"But babe, they will drool over you because of this dress. Your amazkng side boob is also showing." I said as I am getting turned on yet again.

"Nah, I am okay. I have to leave now, okay. Please rest well and take your medicine. I'll be back before you know it." Ashley said and pecked me. I escorted her till the door of the hotel that we are staying in and kissed one more time.

She had gone off to the party for alreadu an hour when my phone beeped and I saw Ashley sending me pics. I laugh out loud as these pictures are about men ogling her openly. She also said that she posted something on instagram,  this is what she feels not having me beside her.
