Chapter 29 - I Love Us Together

Cara's POV

I was never a fan of being alone. I haven't seen her for a week now and I am missing her deeply. I am supposed to go with Chloe for the Britney concert later but the news of its postponement didn't mean anything to me. I mean, the concert will be rescheduled next month and I know Ashley can make time for it so that we can have a date.

I am now at Popsugar's Instagram because Ashley will be taking it over this morning. I am planning to crash it again by commenting but then again, I won't because it is a paid ad. I wanted to fly to Chicago but Ashley firmly said not to go anywhere until she ardives on Saturday.

I smiled while looking at the phone screen where her lovely face is being showcased. My smile became wider when I saw that she is calling me leaving me in trance state to a full blown happy state. I answered her call.

"Hey baby. I heard what happened on the concert, what are you planning to do now?" She asked.

"I will just spend the rest of the day in bed. It is my off. "I said sounding defeated.

"I wish I can be there." Ashley said ending the statement with a sigh.

"I also hope that you are here, baby. How was your instagram takeover on Popsugar?" I asked diverting the topic.

"Oh, it was great. Amazing." She replied to me with happiness lacing her voice. I was about to reply when I heard. "All passengers heading to New York on flight 55ACGH7, please report to the designated counters." Are you at the airport for NYC, baby?" I asked confused as i know that there are at least another two days before she come home.

"Yes baby, I am at the airport because Remi will go back first for a business meeting." She said which had me worried.

"How about you? You'll be alone. This is not good. I'll go there right now." I said starting to think of the danger of Ashley being alone in Chicago.

"Baby, I'm fine. I promised. I will have to end this call for now. I need to see Remi off. I love you, my Carina." She said leaving a kiss sound on the other line.

"I love you too, my Victoria." I replied smilling like an idiot and hang up the phone. Just like that my mood was better. I just love being together with her.

On the other side of the state.....

Ashley's POV

It was a disappointment that the concert was rescheduled. I also know that Cara's mood is not so good. I wanted to be there for her and that is the reason I am here at the airport. As soon as thw takeover was done, I hurriedly ran off towards the airport. I have prepared another surprise for my girl.

I asked her sisters, Chloe and Ashley, some of her fantasies and amazingly, one of them is attainable. Cara has always been a fan of high places as opposed to me. It is one of her dreams to be in the empire state building and watch the streets from up above. With this information, I arranged for a penthouse suite at the said building.

Cara'sbirthday week is also fast approaching and I am thinking of organizing an early birthday party for her.

I was nearly found out by her when the last call for passengers bound for New York was announce and the good thing is, she bought my excuse. I am now settled on my window seat with Remi next to me.

After a few hours of stressful flight, I made it to New York. To get the papz off my back, I had to ask for Poppy's help which she gratefully fulfilled. Here I am right now ibside thwir family's SUV on my way to the Empire State Building. Poppy had alrrady told me that Cara is also on her way thinking she will be meeting her sister.
