Cara's POV

Everything's great between me and Ash. We've been together for weeks now and I wanted to surprise her in NYC. I just came back feom L.A. and I am definitely missing my girl. After speaking with Chloe and Sarah, I decided to enjoy one thing that we both love, going to concerts.

Tonight, I am taking my girl to watch Lauryn Hill in NYC and I just need to bribe Remi, hihi. All planning has been done and I am doning some snickers and black pants with a tshirt and a jacket. I am also putting a rolled bandana on mu pixie-cut hair. I am on my way to Ashley's place and she has no idea about it. I asked for the key from Remington and after telling him my plan, he gave ot to me.

I am now downstairs, making my way to the elevator to Ash's door. I pit the key on the keyhole and opened the door silently. I tiptoed to my baby's bedroom. After successfully opening the door. I can see my baby sleeping like the angel that she is. I can also see Walter sleeping on top of an oblivious Ollie on the dog pen. Ollie stirred but thank god the dog did not wake up or her surprise will be ruined.

I took baby steps towards Ashley's bed and silently slipped in. Ashley moved a little and I cuddled with her.

"Yousmell nice, baby." She said still closing her eyes and cuddled even tighter to me.

"How did you know that it was me?" I asked as I place tiny kisses on her head.

"I jist know that it is the love of my life who is embracing me. Your warmth is familiar and relaxing." She replied opening her eyes.

"When did you arrive, babe?" She asked again as she tried to sit up.

"Just now. I went here straight from the airport." I pulled her towards me again and kissed her lips. "I miss you, baby. Remind me to bring you everywhere, okay?" I added.

"Why would you even ask that?" She said with knitted eyebrows raising in question.

"Because I can't seem to be away from you for long. I miss you every second." I said and we get up from the bed.

"You're dressed. Did you wear that from the airport?" She said as she scan my appearance.

"I changed at the plane. I wanted to invite you somewhere tonight." I explained.

"Baby, I don't wanna go anywhere. Maybe, if, it is for the Lauryn Hill concert. Then that is the only way that I will leave my bed." Ashley said opting toay on the bed again.

"What if I say that it is? Here, look." I said as I showed her the tickets on my hands.

"Wow, sure babe, let me get ready." She replied happily.

"Give me my kiss first." I said and she immediately kissed me passionately and before I can respond, she is already at the bathroom taking a quick shower.

After 30 minutes of waiting for my love and taking care of the pets, we are set to go. I handed her key back but she refused it saying, "You keep it. It is a good thing that you have the key to my pad." We then went ahead and meet our friwnds at the venue.

After 1 hour and 30 minutes....

"That was a blast, baby. Thank youfor the invite to this concert. I like it. No scratch that, I love it." Ashley said and I took her hand and lead her outside.

We were holding hands and walking outside and I didn't anticipate that the paparazzi was on our tail. They crowded the path and I am just thankful of our friends. Another surprising thing is, I forgot to tell my men to fetch us, so we opted to take a cab and luckily, one was available outside rhe venue. Quickly, we got in. I wanted Ash to enter first but she guided me in instead. I was also expecting her to let go of my hand but she didn't. We were holding hands until we entered the cab. We were then dropped off at the restuarant I reserve for the night and was after picked up by the men my sister sent.
