Chapter Five: The Ignore Part 1

Hiccup's P.O.V.

Thanks to Jack, I realized that I loved Elsa too much. I can't even risk losing her, or my life would be pathetic and empty. So the only way to not feel that feeling, is to make sure she doesn't break my heart. The only way to do that, is make her invisible to me.

"Hey Hiccup!" a sweet voice called. I looked over at Astrid, and rolled my eyes a little bit. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Hey, do you want to hang out later?" As much as it pains me to say it, Astrid could be the one to help me forget. She smiles.

"Sure." I smile back, and we walk off.

Elsa's P.O.V.

I don't know what the hell just happened. He was my first kiss, and I loved every bit of it. I love him. I know it's too early, but I do.

I walk to Toothless and scratch his neck. He smiles, and I smile back. He starts purring, and playing with me like a huge cat does. I giggle, and walk back to school. Hopefully the room isn't too destroyed. Suddenly, I see a leg hanging off of a tree. I look up, and see Jack staring into space.

"Jack?" He flinches, and falls, while tripping me in the process. I wait for the pain and the contact, but it never happens. I open one of my eyes to see Jack's face inches away from mine. His eyes are amazingly blue, like mine, but deeper. I just realized that he was a little cute. Wait what? No, Elsa, you already have someone. And why would you be nice to Jack? He was a jerk earlier.

I can feel his hand on my back, and he lifts me up slowly. I raise an eyebrow.

"Elsa, I-I..." he starts. Is he going to apologize? Yea right. A monster like him can not apologize, or even say the words. He takes a deep breath, and looks deep into my eyes.

"Elsa, I'm sorry about earlier. All of it, including blowing up the room." Oh wow. He just had to prove me wrong, didn't he?

"Since you caught me, apology excepted." He smiles, and walks beside me.

"So, you like Hiccup?" I smiled a little. "I see."

"Is there a problem here?" He looks at me.

"No! No, I just want to tell you things to get to know him better."

"Like what?"

"Well, he likes fish." I giggle. I see Jack blush a little. Wait, blush? Why is he blushing?

"I'll keep that in my mind." Jack laughs, a I look at him like never before. His laugh is so...so...melting. It's warm, it's deep, it's soothing, and it's beautiful.

"Okay, he also has a dragon named T-"

"Toothless. I already know that one." He laughs again, and I blush. What the hell? Why am I blushing. I. Like. Hiccup.

"What's his last name?" I ask.

"Haddock. Can I ask what's yours?" I look at him.

"Arendelle." He smiles and scratches his head as we reach school.

"What's his middle name?" Jack chuckles and says, "Horrendous." I look at him and burst in laughter. I snort, and Jack blushed again. I can't stop laughing.

Jack's P.O.V.

Elsa just bursts in laughter when I said Hiccup's middle name. Then, she snorts. Why is she so cute when she snorts? I can't believe that I'm helping Elsa out with Hiccup. Hiccup was right. I am jealous.

I started blushing, but then it turned into hatred when I saw Hiccup walking around with Astrid. He's not supposed to come near her, after what she did to him. She cheated on him, and broke his heart. At first, that's what I was afraid of when I saw Elsa and him holding hands, so I blew up and raged. Then, the unexpected of the unexpected happened. Elsa fought back. She was a believer, and she was beautiful. The unexpected thing was, right then when she slapped me, I fell in love with her.

My heart drops when Elsa sees Hiccup, and runs to him. I wanted to slap my best friend, because he took my love, but then that changed. Elsa tried to get his attention, but Hiccup completely ignored her. Astrid made a disgusted face at her, and they walked away. Hiccup didn't even give Elsa as much as a look. What the hell Hiccup? I could see the pain in Elsa from here. I walk up to her, and put my arm across her shoulder. She didn't flinch. She just stood there.

"He-he just didn't see me. He didn't hear me. He wouldn't-he w-wouldn't ignore me..." I think he would, and I think he did.
