Chapter Ten: War

Hiccup's P.O.V.

I can't believe what she had just done. She told me she was over me. Then, she held Jack's hand! How come she can get over me this fast, but I can't get over her. Ugh. Who knows. Women are complicated. But I'm not giving up yet. I'm going to get the love of my life. And I will have her.

I was walking down the hallway, with my head hung low. People all around me were staring and whispering. Yes, I've really messed up. I lost her.

I walk to music class, and see Astrid hanging out at my locker. I walk up to her and scowl, "I'm sorry, but we're done." She scowls, and walks away. I never did like her. Even when I kissed her disgusting lips. I'll probably NEVER have a kiss like Elsa's. Hers was warm, beautiful, and sad. She tried to comfort me, and I left her. I'm such an idiot.

Music was almost full, and I sat down. The bell rang, and the teacher started talking, but then the door slammed open, showing a happy Elsa and Jack. Jack. I hate him. He stole her, and I'm going to get her back.

"Explain why you're late Ms. Elsa! Jack Frost, I already expect you to be late!" Elsa's eyes widened of embarassment. She blushed, and I fell for her all over again.

"Um-uh I-I i-"

"It was my fault. We were at my locker, and Elsa helped me clean it out, and we lost track of time," Jack interrupted. No one will believe that. Unless Elsa says, because she never lies. The teacher looked at Elsa.

"Is this true?" Elsa nodded, and sat a few seats away from me. I can hear their conversation from here.

"Thanks," Jack says.

"Yeah, you need to keep that thing cleaner," Elsa said.

"That's not why I said thanks." Elsa snorts. Oh no. I love when she snorts. My heart feels like it's in my stomach. Is WAY too low. I feel broken. And empty. It feels horrible. Maybe this is what Elsa felt like when I did this to her. Oh, I'm such a selfish jerk. She's right. I can't even believe myself.

Elsa's P.O.V.

It's official. I'm in love with Jack Frost. I just hope he feels the same about me...

I realize the awkward in his face, and I let his hand go.

"I'm sorry," I say.

"W-what d-did you m-mean too late?" I hesitate, and then cough.

"W-well, I've fallen out of love with him...with...with someone else..." Jack makes a horror face.

"Who?" His face is darkening. I raise an eyebrow, and punch his arm.

"Why would you care?" I say in a playful voice. He lightens up, and blushes. Now he looks super embarrassed. I giggle as he stutters. I take his shoulder, and kiss him on the cheek. Jack just stops. He may have even entered a new universe. I snort at his face, but then the bell rings. I look at him in horror, and we run to the music class. Hiccup's in there, but I just ignore him. I can feel him staring at me...

"Explain why you're late Ms. Elsa! Jack Frost, I aready expect you to be late!" Ooh, the teacher is furious. I become a little nervous of why we were late...

"Uh-um I-I i-"

"It's my fault. We were at my locker, and Elsa helped me clean it out, and we lost track of time." The teacher looks at me.

"Is this true?" Ha, nope. I just nod. That may have been the second time that I have ever lied...

We sit down, and Jack said "thanks." I start to blush and tease him.

"You need to keep that thing cleaner," I say. His face blushes.

"That's not why I said thanks." I blush harder. We do the routine of making fun of the teacher, and I try a little bit to pay attention, but as usual, I can't. Oh well, maybe tomorrow...

Jack's P.O.V.

I don't know how I really feel about Elsa. She's a good friend, but I think I'm in love with her. Would she love me back? That's the thing here...I just don't know. But I know one thing. Hiccup wants her too. I know that he will want to get her back, and I'm not going to let that happen. She's mine, and only mine. It's war.
