Jack's P.O.V.
I watched Hiccup fly away on Toothless.
I don't believe it. Hiccup is a runaway!!
And where are we supposed to go for our education? Not like I care of course. Just wondering.
I decide to walk home.___
"Hi Mom. Hey Emmers," I say. Right when I said it, they both ran up to me and hugged me.
"Oh, thank god you're safe Jack. Thank god," Mom said.
"We thought you died," Emma said confused. She doesn't understand death.
"Died? And left you and Mom alone? Never Emma. Never," I say and smile. Mom smiles, and leaves to the kitchen.
"Jack, in my room, now," Emma demanded. I laugh as she pulled me upstairs and to her room. I scowl at all of the pink. Girly. Blech.
"What's up Emms?" I ask. Emma smirks, and shuts the door.
"Sooooo....Jack....did you make any friends today?" she asks.
"What? Why would you-"
"How 'bout any lady friends?" she interrupts. I feel a little heat in my cheeks, which is odd.
"Now, Emma, don't go there. You're too young to-"
"To understand, yada yada yada, blah blah. But I know about it. So. Did you meet a girl?"
I sigh.
"No, Emma."
"Tough luck. Maybe you'll meet one at that new school you're going to tomorrow."
I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Wait, what school?"
"Mom didn't tell you? You're going to Disney High. It was on the news. You know, the fire thingy."
My blood ran cold and my expression darkened.
"You mean that enslavement with the horrible girls who are too prissy, popular, sissies, and perfect?"
"...Is that good or bad?" Emma said.
"THATS BAD, EMMA!!" I yelled. She flinched.
"Well...being perfect isn't that bad..."
"Emma, it's just horrible. Horrible horrible horrible!!"
"Deal with it Jack. You may find a girlfrien-"
"NONE of those girls are my type whatsoever."
"You might find one thoug-"
"Enough, Emma!"
Some frost crept onto her floor, and she shut up. I stand up and head to my room, deciding to skip dinner.
I flop onto my bed, and just pray that the school won't be a prison like I think it is.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
"Jack, get up!!" Emma yelled and tore the blanket off of me. I moaned, and sat up, yawning. I rubbed my eyes, and Emma giggled
"I don't want to."
"You better! You'll be late if you don't!!"
"Late for what?"
"School!!"
Oh. Right. Damn it.
I get up, and shoo Emma out of my room to get dressed. I put on my favorite blue hoodie and brown pants.
I ruffle my hair up, and run down the stairs. I hear a loud honk, so I run out the door. There it is. The bus. The bus that'll lead me to the prison.
The doors open, and I sigh. I go up the steps, and set my eye on the back seat. It's where I usually sit on buses.
The problem was: there was someone already sitting in it.
She's asleep.
Great. I bet she's one of those prissy, perfectionists.
I shove her shoulder harshly, and she opens her eyes. I only had one thought:
Woah.
She was no perfectionist. She was...different.
Her eyes look like they could kill someone. Her hair looks like the white sand on beaches. Her skin looks like snow.
Freckles scatter on her face.
But I still want my seat. And I don't want to sit with her.
"Get out of my seat. Now," I say. She scowls at me, and I swear, my heart stopped.
She's a Disney. I bet she tries to look different.
I bet she bleached her hair, and wore color contacts. Well, I'm not falling for it. I grit my teeth.
"I see no name tag," she said. Her voice took me by surprise. I was expecting a high, annoying pitch in what they call a voice, but no. She has a low, soothing one. It fits her.
That's when I realize her words.
"Woman, if you don't get out of my seat in five seconds, your school is going to fall down as well! Now get out, you stupid Disney!" I scowl at her. I try to glare at her, but I failed miserably, because she gave me one right back. And it threw daggers. And I died.
Her eyes just pierced right into mine, and mine widened magnificently. Her eyes are just so...woah. They could seriously kill. Oh shit!!
"No. If you want your seat, come and get it."
My anger flared, but I smirked.
"I've never met a feisty Disney before. You must be a newbie. And, I can also tell, because you don't seem to know who I am. I'm the one and only Jack Frost! Now get out of my seat!"
The girl stands up, and glares at me again. My heart just died. Why?!?
All of the sudden, I felt a temperature change. A big one. And...oh no. I can't be losing control. Not right now!!
"I don't give a bloody hell who you are! Its none of your buisness what I am and what I'm not! You can't judge me just because I'm a Disney, and I will not get out of this seat! Good day to you!" she yelled, and sat back down. I groan, and roll my eyes. This girl...doesn't know who she's dealing with.
I sit down in the seat as far away from her as possible.
That's when I decide to examine her closer.
I see no roots in her hair...which is proof that she didn't dye it or bleach it...wow. That's some crazy natural hair.
I try getting a glimpse of her eyes again, but she caught me, and I quickly looked away.
Maybe...just maybe...she truly is different...
I don't know...but I just realized that this is the very first woman whom I have ever actually payed attention to, and examined.
