Hiccup's P.O.V.
"And the square root of that is twenty three, so the sum of the division would all together be three thousand, seventy-four. JACK FROST!! WAKE UP!!" the teacher screamed.
Jack's head jerked up, and his tired face yawned.
"What'd I miss?" he says. I roll my eyes.
"DETENTION, MR. FROST!"
I looked over at Jack, who was going back to sleep. I chuckle, and get back to work at solving question #67.
I was just at the sixth step when Astrid came in.
Jack woke up again, and scowled at her.
I scoffed when she made an excuse for being late.
"Very well Ms. Hofferson, go sit by Hiccup. I shall proceed. And Jack, pay attention."
Astrid walked over to me and sat down. I just ignored her existence.
Well, that was until she passed me a note.
I scowled at her, and quickly opened it."I am sorry."
I crumpled it up and threw it away.
No she's not. She'll never be sorry. She's a monster. How dare she, apologizing after doing the worst to me.
First, she dated me. I was actually, sadly, in love with her. That all changed once she started being a bitch to me. Days after that, she just started ignoring me.
That's when I was hurt the most. When she ignored me.
Weeks of that pain, and I discovered that she was cheating on me. I couldn't bare it anymore. Then she broke up with me.
Well, at least it was over. The worst part is that Astrid was my first girlfriend, and kiss. I can never get over the shame.
But now, she's apologizing. She can't do that. No.
I shake my head, and proceed with class.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
The bell rings, and I take off. The tension in that room was killing me. Astrid wouldn't stop apologizing, and I was sick if it. She just needs to leave me alone. She really hurt me.
I stuff my books into my locker, and grab my bookbag.
"Hey, where's Alex? I gotta talk to him," Jack said while approaching me.
"I don't know. Probably signing up to be a superlative. You know how he like his attention," I reply. Jack patted my shoulder, and took off.____
Jack's P.O.V.
"I don't know. Probably signing up to be a superlative. You know how he likes his attention," Hiccup says. I roll my eyes. Doesn't this guy have enough attention already?
I nod, and take off to the office.
Once I get there, I open the doors and see him.
Alex the 'Lion'. We call him that because his rediculously large mane of blonde hair. You know, like a lion's.
"Hey, bro, you needed to talk to me?" I ask. He looks up from his paper.
"Oh. Yea. Hey Jack. I was wondering if you could tell Gloria that I like her.."
"No. Not with the girls again. No way," I scowl. Alex pouts.
"Man, you need a girl. Trust me, it feels good to claim someone. Got any eyes for someone?"
I roll my eyes.
"No."
"That's because you aren't looking. Open your mind. Okay?"
"Fine. But only once."
"Good. Oh, and also tell Maurice that Julian needs to copy his homework."
"Alright. See ya bro."
"See ya. Oh, and vote for me!"
I roll my eyes again.
Open my mind? My mind is open!! That jerk.
Well...maybe I do need a girl. But none of these girls are what I want.
What do I want?
Who do I want?
I remember what Alex said, so I head to Professor Po's homeroom.
I knock, and guess who answers it? Shrek. Honestly, he looks somewhat like an ogre to me...
"Hey Shrek...di you know where Maurice is?"
"Library. Now leave me alone," he said sternly, and slammed the door.
Jeez.
I leave the ogre in peace, and head to the library. The smell of smoke stopped me at once.
I run the corner, and there it is. A magnificent fire, bursting in the library. I look closer and spot a bit of blue in the fire. I know instantly who started it.
"HICCUP!!!" I scream.
I try and use my powers, but I can't...I can't control them yet. AAGGH. I cough from the smoke, and that's when the fire alarm starts to blare. I cover my ears, and horrible frost patterns start forming at my feet. Uh oh. Not another freak out...no. No!!
I frantically search for another opening, or some kind of way out. Anything.
My eyes find the smallest opening in a wall what has fallen down, so I run as fast as I can, leaving frost behind me. I form a trail of it. Let's hope it melts soon...
I scream and run through the wall of fire.
My body feels the heat for a brief second, but then I feel cold again. Even if it's in the middle of summer.
I run away from the DreamWorks High, in search of Hiccup.❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Hiccup's P.O.V.
I walk outside the school, and around the back of the library to find Toothless.
Right when I see him, I know instantly I need to get out of the way.
He's smelling flowers. He's allergic to them. He just doesn't know it.
After three seconds, he starts shivering and making odd faces. I run and run away from him and the school.
That's when Toothless sneezes.
The fire bursts from his mouth, and blasts into the library.
All those precious books, wasted.
The building lights on fire, and the heat wave hits me. I gasp as I try to breathe, but the heat is so extreme...
I almost collapse on the ground, when I feel something hover me. I look up to see Toothless.
I quickly hop onto him, and we take off into the horizon, and away from the burning school.
