Dear AskMysteryGirl,
My friend asked me if I wanted to go to a beach party with her. I know that there will be drinking and we are under age, but her sister said it was okay for me and her to come. I really want to go but I know my parents won't let me. I can't back away though, I already said yes it's okay I can go, my parents won't care, but they will. Would should I do?

Dear LyingFriend,
Personally I think you should tell your parents that you were invited to a beach party, there will be drinking, but you promise you won't. You can also tell them that this could be a trusting exercise for them, to show them that you keep your word. Tell me what you do! X

..............
I slowly close my laptop and glance on the clock on my wall. It's 7:15 that means an hour for me to get to school. I was up from 6:20 this morning, I couldn't get my mind off Michael and what happened. I don't like him, so I don't know why I kissed him last night. I showered trying to distract myself, didn't work, I answered like 20 messages, nothing.
I thought about telling Maia and Jenn but I decided not to, they would just add more stress to me especially, since I have a boyfriend. I'm pretty confused myself I have to be careful telling anyone about this.
I decide to get ready for school. I go to my closet and pick out my black beanie, red, leather skater skirt, a black and white striped sweater, black shear tights, and black combat boots. I head to my dresser and take up my brush, make up bag, a few rings and bracelets. I walk, almost tripping over the empty pizza boxes from last night, to my mirror and start to brush my hair into a sideways ponytail, and applied my make up. I begin to dress into my clothes that I picked out. Lastly I put on my jewelry.
A few seconds I hear a knock on my door.
"Yes?" I sit on my bed to put on my combat boots.
"Honey? I was just seeing if you were up." I hear my mom say through the door.
"Yah, I'm almost ready actually." I look up and the door opens, and I see disappointment across my mothers face.
"What?" I stop tying my lace and sit up.
"The school called me yesterday. You want to say where you were, when I thought you were at school." She crosses her arms.
I start to tie my boot's lace again, "Shopping."
"Angelina!"
"Mom it's not a big deal! Maia is here and I wanted to spend time with her before she goes!" I finish tying my laces.
"Of course it's a big deal! It's your last year! I want you to have good grades."
"I already do mother, and you know that!" I roll my eyes.
"I know... I'm just worried about you."
"Why?"
"Ever since...." Her voice fades.
"Ever since what?" I narrow my eyes.
"Your father died your not getting the grades you used to." She comes and sits on my bed.
I get up, "So it's dads fault I'm not doing good in school?"
"I didn't mean it like that-"
"Then what did you mean mom!" I shout.
