I hear a loud bang, then a hard fall, I jump out if bed, take the bat from under it, and point at the dark figure standing at my window.
"Take one step and I swear to God I will kill you." I threaten, even though you can hear the shakiness in my voice.
"Angie chill it's me!" I hear a familiar voice calmly explain.
"What! Michael?" I drop the bat and get a closer look. I see him in a black hoodie, and beanie, with grey sweats.
"What are you doing? How did you? Why are you? Answer!" I don't even give him a time to answer, but I'm in too much shock right now. It's 2:15 am in the morning! I thought it was someone trying to kidnap me, I look like shit because I was sleeping. I'm just a mess and confused.
"I came to sleep here." He doesn't even give me permission, he makes his way into my bed and covers himself with my blanket.
"Well?" He looks down at me.
"What you just expect me to not ask anymore questions? Or wonder why you are here? Or how you even came into my room!" I start to freak out.
"Shhh your going to wake your whole neighborhood, ask me all that in the morning. Come sleep." He opens up the blanket and moves towards the wall so there's space for me to sleep. I sigh and lie down beside him. He snuggles his head into my back and wraps his arm around my waist.
"Michael...." I start to say but then I hear a soft snore coming from his mouth.
"How did he?" I talk to myself, "Whatever." I close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
-----------------------"Angelina!" My mom calls my name. I groan and put my blanket over my face.
"Angelina!" She calls again, and opens my bedroom door.
"What mom!" I shout uncovering my face. She's is taken back from my out burst, come I think of it so was I. I didn't mean to yell like that.
"Sorry mom I didn't mean to do that." I sigh and sit up on my bed.
"The daycare called to remind you about the interview you have today.... I thought you had it yesterday. Did you lie to me? Angie if you lied to me I swear you will be grounded for a whole year!" Her voice rises. I roll my eyes.
"I did have an interview yesterday but there was a lot of people, so it didn't get the chance to do it. This lady just showed me around and stuff for me to get a feel about what's going on. Today is the actual interview." I smile.
Proud of myself for being this smooth. It kind of scares me, I never really used to lie that much to my mom. Thanks to Michael I haven't really cared if I lied or not just to get close to him.
"Alright honey, thanks for being honest." She smiles.
I give her a fake laugh, "Of course.. What's for breakfast?" I change the subject.
"You have make your own! I have to head to work. Your still grounded. Love you." She walks out my room without closing the door. I narrow my eyes at her as she disappears down the hallway, down the stairs. I hear the front door open and close.
"Who was that?" I see Michael walk into my room shirtless. I fold my arms at him.
"What?" He comes plopping beside me on the bed.
"What happened last night? Why did you come here?" I sound more worried than annoyed. He looks straight towards my room door and doesn't reply.
"Hello?" I wave my hands in front of his face.
"I just wanted to okay." He looks at me and smiles.
"Liar." I put one of my fingers on his lips. Then he kisses it. I blush and smile.
