Time and Time Again [Completed]

Chapter 10

Everyone gathered around the table for lunch. The room was full a chatter but two people stayed silent next to each other not talking at all. Rose and Scorpius didn't know what to say to each other. Scorpius still didn't know if he should talk to her. They obviously have feelings for each other but was it enough to build an actual relationship?

To break the tension Albus says, "So we go home in 6 hours..."

Everyone stops talking. "I don't want to leave! It's too much fun here! Besides dad will make me do the potions homework Professor Slughorn assigned over the summer!" Lily says.

"Professor Slughorn?" Sirius asked, "He's back at the school?."

"Yeah, since 1996." Roxy says.

"That's next year!" comments Harry.

"Well who was going to take over after Snape went on to teach Defense against the Dark Arts! Gosh I would of loved to be taught by such an amazing wizard! Wouldn't you Albus?"

"Yeah.. If only..." Albus replied.

"Hold up. Snape teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts next year?! And what do you mean by I wish I could of been taught by him? He's the worst teacher at Hogwarts!" Ginny exclaimed.

All the future kids looked over to Albus, "Well that's not what dad says. He says that even though Snape fought with him most of his childhood, he was one of the greatest men he ever knew. That's why I'm named after him."

"Name after him?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah. Did I not mention my middle name is Severus?"

"You named your child after Snape?!" Ron yelled towards Harry.

"It was probably for good reasons!" Harry yelled back, "Gosh why is everyone so concerned about my future!"

"It was for good reasons," Fred II started, "He died for you."

Everyone went silent. "Snape died for me?" The future kids nodded. "Wow... I never thought he could do that for me."

"Well," Lupin said, "I think that the adults need to get back to work. Kids why don't you go into the guest bedroom again?"

All the kids file out after helping Molly put away the dishes, the children made their way to the guest bedroom. On their way to the bedroom, Rose pulled Scorpius into a nearby walk-in closet to have a little chat...

"What are you doing?" Scorpius questioned Rose as he was pulled into the closet.

"I needed to talk to you"

"So talk."

Rose pauses to gather her thoughts. Scorpius can recognize her emotions just by a glance. He can tell by this one, that it was going to be a very overwhelming conversation, "We never really go a chance to talk to you after breakfast and then I went to talk to you and heard you and Albus talking in the kitchen."

"You heard that?" Scorpius began to freak a little. He didn't want her knowing that he wanted to me in a relationship with her because if he acted on it and she didn't like it, he would lose one of his best friends.

"Yeah, I heard everything and listen..."

Scorpius was convinced that the next words to leave her mouth would leave him heart broken forever.
