"And what illness do you think you have?" Dr. Kim asked.
She stared at his flawless handsome features in awe as she blurted, "I think I'm in love."
"W-What?!" he choked.
Lee Ha-eun, a broken girl with a haunting past, in fear of hospitals and whit...
"Ugggghh," Ha-eun groaned in frustration, covering her heavy eyelids with her pale forearm from the bright daylight as she rolled around in bed, cursing at the alarm, the sun, the honking cars outside and pretty much everything else.
She lazily got up from bed after half an hour of laying in bed. Stepping into the bathroom and staring at the mirror, somehow, with her eyes closed.
"How are you this morning? Why the fuck you ask?" She talked along with herself, her empty apartment stripped from any noise but her groggy one.
Suddenly, her phone in her pocket vibrated and she picked it up, still brushing her teeth.
"Hey, Eun. Ready for today?"
"Ready for what exactly??" she spoke after spitting the tooth paste.
He sighed.
"Come on, Ha-eun. You know what I mean. You promised. Todayyy."
"Ugh, I know, I know, Taehyung. Okay? I'll be ready in like five hours."
"Ha-euuuuunnn."
"Uh, okay, okay. Pick me up at nine, okay?"
"Alright! See ya!!" He excitedly sang before hanging up.
She threw the phone on her bed and started dressing up.

Suddenly, a honking noise of a car bursted through the air.
Damn it, even Taehyung's car was as noisy as him. She sighed as she stood and walked out of her lonely, dark apartment, where those memories haunted her still, where the ghosts of her past remained. But it didn't actually matter because everywhere she went, they followed her like a shadow. There was no riddance of them.
She lazily shook those thoughts off and wore a cracked mask as she hopped into the car, driving away with Taehyung, away from those haunting faces.
