"Gosh, this is like the third time, dude."
He turned to her, already recognizing her voice as he gave her a side look then rolled his eyes, letting out the cloud of smoke from his mouth.
"So, you're counting how many times you see me, huh, library girl?"
Taehee sighed, "I'm not a library girl. I just work here sometimes. I study here."
"Yeah sure." He puffed out another mouthful of smoke.
"Would you stop doing this already?" She said in frustration. "You can't smoke here."
"And why not? I'm not inside the library."
"Why do you even smoke, then??"
The raven-haired boy looked at her. "Why do you care?"
"Smoking is bad for everyone. It's unhealthy and I like nature. And smoking just destroys nature." She shrugged.
Smoking just destroys nature.
That sounded like her.
I will always be by your side.
He felt a heavy lump in his throat as he remembered her saying that.
Always..
"Oh, I.. I didn't mean to upset you, really. I.." Taehee didn't know what to do when she saw his utterly saddened expression. She hated seeing anyone sad. Even if she didn't really know him.
"It's okay. It's not you." He finished his cigarette as he took out his small box of cigarettes.
"Oh, come on. Are you smoking because you're sad or what??"
"That... is non of your business."
"Ouch, I'm insulted, Mr. smoker. Wait, what's your name?"
"And why do you wanna know?"
"Do you like Mr. smoker better, then?"
He thought for a moment. Telling her his name wouldn't hurt, right?
"I'm.. Yoongi."
"Oh, and I'm Taehee," she extended her hand to shake his. And he was about to take it when she suddenly snatched the white box out of his other hand.
"Got you!"
"Hey, give it back. Why are you so annoying? Gosh."
Maybe when you stop smoking that much, I won't bother you." She smiled as she took out one cigarette and gave it to him. "Here, this is enough for you for the rest of the day."
"Are you even seriou—"
Taehee disappeared giggling before he could even continue. He sighed in frustration as he put the last cigarette he had in his mouth. But staring back at where she went, he took it out of his mouth in hesitation.

Finally, going back home on bus, Ha-Eun sat as she closed her eyes, listening to calm sounding music.
But she had to get up then as the bus stopped close to her house.
She sighed as she walked to her house, freezing from the harsh wind drifting by.
The music washed away everything else, though, melancholically calming her tired soul as she paced towards her apartment.
"Ha-Eun?"
She didn't hear it.
"Ha- Ha-Eun, is that.. you?"
Still didn't even turn.
He finally gave up and held her hand firmly as she stared in shock, taken by surprise at that.
But when she saw him she gasped loudly. She yanked her hand away from his as she walked faster then, one earphone falling down from her ear.
"Ha-Eun, wait, please." He followed her as she trembled, barely holding herself.
He held her wrist again as he pinned her to her spot, forcing her to stop.
(A/N: it ain't a K-drama unless there's a wrist yank ;)"Look, I know I came all out of a sudden. But I.. I don't want you to remember me as a bad person. Sure, I was a complete jerk. But now I've changed. Really, I—"
"I can't." Ha-Eun stared him in the eye. "I just can't, Jungkook. You've hurt me enough. The least thing you could do is leave me in peace," she said as she remembered what Taehyung had said.
You're not that fragile girl anymore.
"I'm not that fragile girl you used to hurt anymore. So, just get away from me and forget about me." She walked away, leaving him standing there.
"But, Ha-Eun. I can't.." she couldn't hear him, though. She was already far away from him, lost in the wind, the soft piano and vocals in her single ear, and those hurtful memories she shared with him.
