Feeling the exhaustion seeping through her bones, Ha-Eun tried to smile at the dozens of people she didn't even know at the party; Taehee seemed to be way too social, unlike herself who panicked whenever Taehyung would leave her side.

As the rambling and loud music kept playing on, Ha-Eun gave up on keeping Taehyung by her side; it wasn't even his fault that she dragged him into this party, the least thing she could do was let him enjoy a little, she concluded.

From afar, behind the stacks of drunken people, she almost thought that a certain familiar face appeared, a face she hoped she wouldn't see.

"So, Taehyung, you like swimming too?" A guy asked Taehyung as he gave him a tight smile, nodding in response. He was starting to befriend a few people here, most of them studied in the same university as he did. But as the guys he was talking to kept drinking, he only had a couple of drinks; he wasn't the kind to drink too much like them, it would be reckless.

The man, Donghyuck then gazed behind Taehyung, then looked back at him laughing, "who the hell is this chick who looks like she's gonna throw up? She doesn't even look like she had a single drink."

Taehyung turned, only to see Ha-Eun the one that guy talked about, staring uncomfortably ahead of her, as if she had seen a ghost. He turned back to Donghyuck red-eyed, glaring dangerously at him as he answered, "she's my friend."

Expecting completely the opposite, Taehyung was shocked when the man started laughing, a splurt of beer leaving his mouth, "you serious? That girl is like the weirdest in the university. How are you even friends?" He then gave him a sly smirk as he said, "or are you even friends? You probably live together and fu—"
The rest of the unspoken words flew away as a punch hit Donghyuck's face, making him stagger back.

He was about to return the punch back to Taehyung who was now staring murderously at him. But he was suddenly blocked with rather an unexpected girl.

"Stop it, both of you!" Yelled the notebook girl, her sudden appearance eased the anger Taehyung was feeling just a few seconds ago, replaced now by the guttering in his stomach and the loud thumps in his chest. And now, not a word could be formed with this foggy head of his.

The beautiful girl glared at Donghyuck for a second then looked at Taehyung apologetically. "I'm sorry, my friend turns into a troublemaker when he drinks too much." She sighed. And for a moment, Taehyung lost himself as he stared at her in her beautiful red dress.

He blinked twice when the aura drifted to slight awkwardness. "Oh," he finally said. "It's alright. Don't worry."

She gave him a sweet soft smile before nodding and thanking him, dragging the angry drunk guy away before he got himself into more trouble.

Such an ass who didn't even deserve to be friends with an angel. Taehyung couldn't help but envy him, though.

Looking around, checking if all plates and bottles were filled, Taehee made sure the party was going well. But she was overthinking that she had forgotten that it was a party, her own party that she didn't even enjoy.

"Maybe I should get myself a drink after all," she told herself, looking for the nearest drink possible.

"Here." She looked up to find a strange man with a hair the color of coffee offering her a paper cup filled with liquor. She smiled at him softly as she thanked him and took it. "How did you know I was looking for a drink, though"? She wondered aloud.

The man with the coffee hair only shrugged. "You looked like you could use one."

She nodded as she thanked him again and brought the cup to her lips, the pink lipstick slowly fading away with the long night hours.

As she was about to sense the stinging in her tongue, the cup suddenly flew away from her hand; all of a sudden, she found herself on the floor with yet another stranger on top of her.

She looked up in horror only to be met with cold yet familiar eyes that looked into hers with utter concern.

"Y-yoongi??? What the Heck??" Was all Taehee could utter, still trying to comprehend the fact that he came out of nowhere and now he was pressed against her thin dress, or the fact that his smoky breath was too close to her face.

He finally got up, taking Taehee's hand in his and lifting her along with him. He ruffled his hair then glared at the coffee-haired man.

Two seconds later the man was against the wall, begging Yoongi to let him go as Yoongi warned him, "don't you ever try  to spike her drink again or try anything out or I'll rip your arms off."

Clutching nervously to the hem of her dress, Ha-Eun checked the time again. It was almost midnight now and people were still so active. Maybe she could try to have a drink or talk to people. But she wasn't good at anything in parties, especially dancing.

She sighed as she scrolled down some notifications on her phone, looking up every now and then. But her eyes suddenly stopped at the certain face she believed was an illusion. But, oh, he was real.
