The sun slowly loosened its grip on the city as the car parked in front of a strange, five stories building.
"This one? You sure?"
Ha-Eun nodded for the eleventh time as she took her jacket and stepped out of the car, but was stopped by a worried tone of Taehyung "Ha—Ha-Eun, you sure you don't want me to come? I can stay with you if you want." Care was shown in his worried stare.
Ha-Eun sighed, "Tae, I'm old enough to take care of my self, don't worry. If I needed you, I'll call you. Don't worry."
He still wasn't convinced; Ha-Eun's history with hospitals and doctors wasn't very... good in general. Even if that was a therapist, he still was considered a doctor. But Ha-Eun's determined glaring at the building made Taehyung think that it was time she faced her fear.
He finally agreed and she got out of the car, waving a bye at him as he disappeared along with the stretching sunlight.
"Oh, lord, here goes nothing." The girl whispered to herself as she walked into the silent building, more silent than she thought, and she walked up the stairs, checking the white card the woman gave her and making sure it was indeed the third floor.
As she reached the third floor, a door appeared at the far end of the corridor. She hesitantly walked towards it and knocked on the door.
No response.
"Was this the wrong adre—"
Ha-Eun almost jumped at the sound of another door closing. She looked around to realize there was another door right behind the curve of the corridor where she stood. Slowly walking there, she knocked on the closed door and heard a soft 'come in'.
She entered the small room; its walls, desk and chairs were all white, giving her uneasiness.
"Hello," a sweet manly voice greeted her as she finally remembered there was another human-being in this room.
Once she met his eyes, she almost gasped; he looked so attractively handsome with full lips curved into a wide smile.
"Duh-Doctor Kim?" Damn it, why was her voice shaking??
He nodded, "yes. Would you like to see me?"
All day, actually. I'd stare at you all day.
She dragged herself out of her daze as she nodded, too.
"Please, sit, then." He pointed towards another white chair, reminding her of the hospital chairs. But who would say no to that man?
Ha-Eun sat comfortably, trying her best not to stare at his figure.
He then stood and started pacing around. "So, you believe you need help, huh?"
Ha-Eun nodded, her tongue tied.
She thought she could hold it in to sit alone in a room with a gorgeous man without squealing. But she was wrong; once Dr. Kim stood in front of a wide window, the sunlight showered his graceful figure ethereally, showing all his lines and face curves just right.
"And what illness do you think you have?" Dr. Kim asked.
She stared at his flawless handsome features in awe as she blurted, "I think I'm in love."
"W-What?!" he choked.
Great job, Ha-Eun. You've done that to your therapist.
"I-I mean, I'm.. ahaha sorry. I was just trying to um.. break the ice a little."
"Uhuh.."
He slowly returned back to his chair as he felt uneasy but tried to hide it, adding a note on his papers that she couldn't properly see.
"So, what is your name, exactly?"
"Lee Ha-Eun."
"Kindness."
She looked back at him in confusion, "huh?"
"Yo-your name means kindness and grace. I like it."
She could feel a blush creeping its way towards her cheeks. "Oh, yeah. Thanks."
"So, Ha-Eun. I just need to ask you some questions first. I need to fill on your information and then we can start the therapy. Have you ever been to a therapist before?"
Ha-Eun shook her head.
"And why?"
Her lower lip uncontrollably trembled as she held on, forcing herself not to break.
"Ha-Eunaah."
She looked at him in shock, her vision filled with tears. But she still could see his kind smile. "It's okay. You need to open up to me and trust me so I can help you. I would never tell anybody about anything you tell me. You can tell me anything."
"Ca-can we talk about it later? Let me just give you the information you need for today."
He nodded understandingly. "Of course. It's alright." He handed her a form to fill as she wiped the tears that hadn't fallen off her eyes.
She really hated white. But among all those white walls, white desk, white chairs and white paper in her hands, this doctor Kim gave her another color, still not vivid enough. But she knew it was there.
