Ha Eun smiled again at the memory that played in her mind over and over as she walked to her next lecture. She remembered the day before when Seokjin had dusted away the dead leaves that stuck loosely to her hair. And for a brief moment, she felt his deep inhale, too close to her ear. But that moment was enough to keep her busy thinking instead of focusing on the lectures. And that had also made her realize she wasn't merely admiring her therapist anymore. No, it was something else now, something much deeper that she was too afraid to admit that she had already been falling into.
Her dazed mind was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a girl she knew; Taehee.
"Oh, good thing I saw you, Ha Eun. I wanted to talk to you anyways."
"What? Why, what happened?"
"Oh, don't worry it isn't bad. Now, I know we don't see each other much but you're my friend and I'd like to invite you to my birthday party next week at my house. Would you like to come?"
In all honesty, Ha Eun hated parties and loud crowded places filled with ignorant drunk people. But on the other hand, she really liked Taehee as a friend and didn't want to disappoint her. And plus, she didn't think it would be a really big party, would it?
"Sure. But can I bring a friend with me?"
Taehee nodded, full of enthusiasm as per usual. "Of course, more people means more fun!"
Oh, how Ha Eun disagreed with that. But she only smiled at her. And with that, Taehee left saying she needed to invite more people.
"Well, Ha Eun, you just got yourself a night of suffering with humans. But at least I'll bring Taehyung."

Although the packet, half filled with cigarettes, was just inside his pocket, he didn't put his hand in there to fetch it. For some reason, he was fighting the urge to smoke. Maybe that reason was the one who just came and said, "oh, smoke guy, you're not smoking today?"
Yoongi looked up to see the bright smile of the girl he last found in the rain, her question mixed with relief as she looked at him.
"I don't feel like it right now," was all what he said as he looked down, pushing in the bitter-sweet memories.
"Well, that's good, I guess. Just eat well and you'll slowly stop smoking." Taehee giggled as he looked at her with a raised eyebrow, merely doubting it.
She rolled her eyes, "Anyways, Yoongi, would you like to come to my birthday party next week? It's at my house." She handed him her address. But Yoongi stared at her; how could she trust him that much? She barely knew him.
"But, we don't really know each other."
"True, and that's why I think it would be a good way to get to know each other more, isn't it?"
This girl, she was better without a guy like him. He didn't want her to be hurt because of him. He needed to stop this before it was too late.
"I.. I can't. I'll be very busy."
Taehee couldn't help but pout, even though it wasn't her habit but she felt disappointed. "Aw, come on. It's my birthday."
"I'm sorry. I don't think I'll make it."
She sighed. "Well, if you ever changed your mind, don't hesitate to come. Hope I'll see you there," Taehee said before she walked away and left him with his empty lost soul and his half-filled packet of deadly cigarettes.
