(Start in Inkopolis Square. ZAKI is lying on a bench looking completely discombobulated. MIKADO and BIITO come out of the clothing store.)
Mikado-Hey, Zaki.
Zaki-Yo.
Mikado-What are you doing here? I thought you were going to go to Inkopolis Tower with Keiso and Teruo.
Zaki-I was, but then I got the worst headache, and I just had to lie down. This must be another symptom of that stupid Octo-ink.
Mikado-The what?
Zaki-Stuff.
(She grabs her head.)
Zaki-Ugh, my head feels like it's going to cave in on itself!
Biito-If your head's hurting, maybe some ice will help. Do you have a headband I could put it in?
Zaki-Brother, wearing a headband would squeeze my head and make it hurt even more. Besides, ice is only for boo-boos. Do you know nothing about first aid?
Biito-Sheesh, crabbypants!
Zaki-Yeah, I'm crabby, but that's because I'm ouchy and also a little bit tired.
Mikado-Are you still fit to battle, Zaki? If not, I can take you back to our place.
Zaki-I'm fine. As long as my legs don't give out again.
(She sits up, clutching her head.)
Zaki-Maybe a battle will make me forget about the pain. I don't want the boys going in without us, either.
Mikado-If you insist.
(She takes ZAKI by the arm. ZAKI blushes as they walk to Inkopolis Tower. She looks back and waves at BIITO. Opening theme. Cut to the waiting plaza. BIITO and MIKADO are waiting together.)
Mikado-Looks like Keiso and Teruo already went in.
Biito-And Zaki, apparently.
(MIKADO looks around.)
Mikado-Huh. I don't see her anywhere. Where could she have gone?
(ZAKI runs in from the weapons locker holding the Aerospray MG.)
Biito-Zaki, what's that?
Zaki-Oh, this? This is a little baby I like to call the Aerospray MG.
(She caresses the barrel.)
Zaki-It's got the best rate of fire there is, and it's custom-made.
Mikado-Custom made? How'd you get a custom made weapon?
Zaki-Let's just say I did a little favor for the shopkeeper.
Biito-I'm sorry. You did what for the shopkeeper?
Mikado-Forgive me if I sound confused. It's just that I thought they stopped making custom weapons.
Zaki-Apparently not. In fact, I have...
(She counts on her fingers.)
Zaki-Three. I just don't use the other two as much.
Kari-Battle time!
Mikado-Okay, but this whole custom-made thing seems a little fishy.
(Cut to Urchin Underpass. CALLIE and MARIE are commentating.)
Callie-Here we are again at Urchin Underpass!
Marie-Team colors are pink and teal.
