Remember when I told you Tini was dead?

Well that wasn't completely true. In fact, that wasn't true at all.

It turned out that the doctors were able to save her, and I couldn't be happier.

Now I was sitting next to her on her bed. Her eyes still closed, but you were able to hear her soft breaths now.

I was tightly holding onto her hand, not leaving her. All the police officers and every nurse had been trying to convince me to tell them what had happened.

I was determined not to. Not before I had asked Tini if she wanted me to tell them.

She hadn't opened her eyes yet, and the doctors couldn't say when she was going to. I could only wait.

My parents had come to visit Tini a few hours ago. I told them and the doctors that Tini's parents had left her and she was staying with us for over 5 years already.

I had to make something up since I couldn't tell the truth.

My parents were confused but finally agreed to help. They left a few minutes ago after they talked to the officers and lied for me.

I was staring at her flawless face and focusing on the soft breaths which left her mouth.

She looked so calm, so different. My eyes were locked with her closed ones as suddenly, they opened.

I felt how my heart skipped a beat while a bright smile took place on my face.

"My love" I whispered while my hand caressed the side of her cheek. Her chocolate brown eyes stared blankly at me.

I immediately pressed in an orange button before I turned back to Tini. "You'll be alright" I whispered while still holding her hand.

A doctor appeared in front of us, immediately walking to Tini. He took her pulse and nodded before he checked the machine she was connected to.

I saw how Tini's glance slowly followed every movement the doctor made. She looked focused, like she wanted to figure out something.

The doctor came back to Tini and stood in front of me and her.

"How do you feel?" He asked her. Tini didn't answer, I saw her struggling with producing any sound from her throat.

I could clearly see she was in pain, and it hurted me. "I see, you can't talk" The doctor concluded. I hadn't spoken to him either, my eyes were concentrated on the chocolate eyes of Tini.

The unsteady breaths that left her mouth sounded painful which her eyes showed off.

"She's not gonna be awake for long, she lost too much blood. The energy in her body is lowering quickly" The doctor said, turning to me now. I finally lifted my head up and stared at the doctor.

"I'll leave you to have some time with her" He gave me a smile before he quickly left the white hospital room.

I turned to Tini again. I sheltered my arms around her while taking a tight grip on her body.

"I know I don't have long with you before you close those gorgeous eyes of yours again. I just want to promise you that I'll make sure you will wake up again" I promised her while I kissed our, now laced, hands.

The weakest, most painful smile twirled up to her lips.

She made a slight movement with her hand, signing me to come closer. "I love you" She hitched out of her throat. Her voice sounded soar and all the energy was sucked out of it.

But her words made me happy. I circulated a bright smile on my face. "I love you too" I replied while kissing her soft forehead.

Again she tried to crack up a smile but she failed. The pain in her eyes made my heart shatter down into pieces.

I saw how a watery tear rolled over her blushy cheek. I hovered my hand over her face and brushed away the tear.

"Don't cry love" I whispered while placing a kiss on the place where the tear was just rolling.

"Promise me" She croaked through her shaky, purple lips. "Don't tell about my father yet" I stared at her in trance while she struggled to hick the words out of her throat.

"Wait for me" She finished while after she let out a thick sigh before she loosened up into my arms.

I took her in my warm embrace while nodding and kissing her upon her wavy brown hairs.

I felt how her eyelashes closed against my shoulderblade. Her tiny body relaxed in my arms while I held her and slowly placed her straight on the whitish bed.

She tugged into the hospital blankets. I kissed the top of her hand, next to the needle that was stuck into it.

"I'll save you" I said before I took off outside the room. I went to the doctor.

He was going to take off my blood so I could donate it to Tini. Her blood loss was worse than they expected and she needed more blood.

In my luck we had the same blood-type and I could safely donate my blood.

"It's really great you're doing this Mr Blanco" I nodded with a weak smile circled on my lips.

He told me to lay in the chair and then he explained the process he was going to do. I just moved my head in agreement, only listening halfly.

My mind was with those brown eyes of her.

The doctor walked away, but within a second he returned with a needle in his hand. I gulped slightly while closing my eyes for a while.

Needles weren't really my thing.

I took a deep inhale before I opened my eyes again. For Tini.

"Ready?" He asked me. I nodded, my lips not leaving any words through because of the nerves that were concering my body at the moment.

He stick the needle in my arm as I squeezed my eyes tight together. My face cramped into each other until the doctor pulled the needle out again for what felt like an eternity.

"Done" He said with a light smile and a chuckle.

"When will she wake up?" I asked him while I immediately sat up straight again, not even caring about the fact that I felt my head turning dizzy.

"She'll get your blood and then her body has to rebuild the energy. She'll be awake in around 5 hours" He said while he tried to make me lay again, knowing I was dizzy somehow.

"Keep it down sir, you gave some of your blood and your body needs to recover from that. You don't want to end up in the hospital as well" He said, with again a little chuckle rolling over his lips.

I just laughed lightly out of politeness and sat back down. "Can I also be calm in her room?" I asked him. He laughed and nodded finally.

"Of course, first we'll insert the blood and then you can stay with her until she wakes up. Just make sure to press the button when her eyes open" I nodded again for the thousand time today.

"I'll tell you when you can go to her" He added before he walked out of the room with my blood in his hands.

I stared at the white walls of the hospital room I was in. There were so many things I could worry about now, but in the end only thing really matters.

Her health.
