Kara hopped up off the couch and went over to MonEl, leaving her phone on the sofa. She was eager to see the results. If she was pregnant, then she most likely couldn't continue her job as Supergirl for nine months. If she wasn't, which wasn't very likely given the pregnancy symptoms she'd had, then she'd get to continue her job as Supergirl and wait until she was married and actually ready for a baby.
"Did you get two?" She asked her boyfriend. MonEl nodded. They got two just to make sure that the tests were accurate. "Alright." Kara's voice sounded shaky. She got the tests out of the bag, opened them, and then went to the bathroom. She had MonEl wait right outside the door for her.

Kara held the first test tightly in her hand. She had her eyes shut, worried to look at the result.
"Do you know yet?" MonEl asked through the bathroom door. Kara shook her head, then remembered that he couldn't see her.
"No, I don't..." She mumbled. "I'm about to look." She opened her eyes, and a quiet gasp escaped her mouth. "MonEl?" She said, voice trembling.
"Yes?"
"It's positive."
"Well, try the second test." He said calmly.
Now, Kara was waiting for the second test's results. She decided not to close her eyes this time. She stared at the test for what felt like forever until a line appeared. She took a deep breath. I'm not pregnant. She set the test down on the bathroom counter, then looked at herself in the mirror.
"Kara?" MonEl said. Kara picked up the test to show her boyfriend that she wasn't pregnant, until she noticed something. Two lines?? There were now two lines on the test. She was pregnant.

Many thoughts raced through MonEl's mind. He looked at Kara who had her head down. He put his hand on her chin and slowly lifted it up until her eyes met his. He wiped her tears away, and said,
"Everything will be okay. You're not alone in this."
Kara nodded, and then MonEl pulled her close to his chest, letting her makeup run all over his shirt as she cried.
