It had been six months since Eliza was born. She could sit up now, say mama, and even eat a few soft foods. A small tooth was also breaking through her bottom gums. She turned out to keep MonEl's dark hair, and she kept her hazel eyes. Her nose was like Kara's, but her eye shape was MonEl's.

Kara tickled Eliza, causing the baby to laugh uncontrollably. It made Kara laugh too.
"Would you like to go on a walk?" She asked the baby. Though she didn't respond, Kara knew it would do them both some good to get outside for a little while. It was spring now, no longer that cold out. She dressed the baby in a light blue onesie with flowers in it, light pink socks that matched the color of the flowers, and she handed the baby a light pink stuffed rabbit for her to chew on. Then she strapped the baby into a stroller, got on her shoes and got her purse, and they were off to take a walk.

Maybe I should stop at a small coffee shop, Kara thought. She was hungry and craved a sticky bun. Yeah, I will. She looked down at Eliza who looked up at her, smiling and showing her halfway through tooth. Kara pushed Eliza down the street of the city, and to TimHortons for a sticky bun and coffee. It was a Sunday morning, and MonEl was at the alien bar working.

"Here we are, Ellie." Ellie was what she and MonEl called Eliza as a nickname. They thought it was awful cute, which it was. Kara pushed the small stroller inside TimHortons, got in line, and looked at the menu for something Eliza could eat. There wasn't really anything besides a plain bagel. She knew Eliza would scream for her own food, so when it was Kara's turn to order she ordered that, a sticky bun, and a iced coffee.

She then pushed the stroller with Eliza in it over to a booth, sat down, and handed Eliza half of the warm bagel. She smiled and shoved it straight into her mouth and ripped off a tiny bite with her half tooth and gums. Kara munched on her sticky bun and drank her iced coffee as she watched Eliza and looked out the window at the busy city. Kara was watching birds fly around, and cars, and she was having a good time relaxing. She heard a cry come from Eliza, and figured that she'd run out of bagel and wanted more. She turned her head, beginning to talk to Eliza.

"Ellie, do you-" Kara stopped in horrified shock. "ELIZA!" Kara stood up. Eliza and her stroller were gone. The baby didn't finish her bagel, as it lay on the ground. A few people turned their heads and looked at Kara, wondering who's name she was screaming. "MY BABY IS MISSING!" A few people stood up, and a barista came over and asked her a few questions, but she wasn't listening. She needed to find Eliza. She ran out of the building, crying. I look out the window for ONE minute! Kara angrily ran down the street. When nobody was looking, she changed into her supergirl outfit and began looking for her baby.

"They couldn't be that far." She tried reassuring herself. She cried silently as she listened for baby cries, and she scanned the busy streets for a small green stroller, and someone frantically pushing it away; or walking causally like it was their baby! Kara stared at a man in a suit walking while pushing Eliza who was screaming, wondering why this person was pushing her away from her mama.
Kara dove towards the man, ready to punch. A few people stared and pointed as Supergirl flew quickly through the air and down to the ground, but gasped when they realized she was headed in the baby's direction. They didn't know it was her baby, but they were about to.

Kara stopped on the ground, making it shake a little. She was angry. The man stared for a minute, then took off running, the stroller shaking and Eliza crying, terrified. Kara ran quickly after him while people stared. She punched the man hard, making him fall to the ground and pass out with a bloody nose. Kara slipped over towards her baby and scooped her up, ripping out the seatbelt instead of unbuckling it.

"Oh, my baby. Mama will never leave you out of her sight again." Kara hugged Eliza, who stopped crying and was now only sniffling. Kara then grabbed her purse, which was hanging off of the stroller's handles, and shot up into the air, taking Eliza home.
