Chapter Six - Together Until The End

Mika and Yuu were getting ready to leave, they had just left the school only to be surrounded by police officers. "Mikaela and Yuichiro, we must bring you in for interrogations." one officer said. "Why?" Mika asked. "Apparently a student said they saw both of you at the scene of Shinoa's death, you are suspects." The officer replied. "Yuu-Chan, when I give you a signal, run for it." Mika whispered to Yuu. "Eh? what?" Yuu replied, but Mika didn't hear him. He opened his jacket to reveal a sword. "This will finally come in handy." He said. "Mika Don't!" Yuu shouted. "Put your weapon down now!" The police officer said pointing his gun. He fired it, and it hit Mika's hand, causing him to drop the sword. It landed next to Yuu. "Agh! Dammit!" Mika shouted holding his wounded hand. Tears formed in yuu's eyes. Suddenly he grabbed the sword, ran up to Mika, grabbed his unwounded hand, and began to run. The Police officers chased after them. "Yuu-Chan what are you-" "Mika, we're getting out of here!" Yuu said. He swung his sword at the bullets that flew at them. "There's no way we can escape on foot, Yuu-Chan!" Mika said. "Just shut up and run!" Yuu said. suddenly He jumped in front of Mika, Shielding him from a bullet that the sword couldn't deflect. "YUU-CHAN!" Mika cried. Yuu fell to the ground, a puddle of blood formed around him. Tears began to stream from Mika's eyes. He grabbed the sword that Yuu dropped and stood in front of Yuu, protecting him. "YOU SHOT MY YUU-CHAN! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!" Mika shouted. "You both resisted, we had no choice, so you need to stop resisting as well." One officer said. "NEVER! You don't even have proof we were there! You don't have proof it was us!" Mika replied still shouting. "Considering you both fought, and then ran, shows you're guilty, if you weren't guilty, there would've been no reason for you to fight and run from us." The officer said. "Tch." Mika replied. He got ready to attack. "Put the weapon down." The officer said. "NO! Not after what you did to Yuu-Chan!" Mika yelled. "Then we have no choice. Fire!" Suddenly there was a sharp pain in Mika's chest. He looked down and saw blood. He fell to the ground next to Yuu. 'Is...is this how it's going to end for us..?' Mika Thought. "Mika..." Yuu grabbed Mika's hand. Mika looked over at Yuu, who was crying. "Mika...we got to be together until the end...." Yuu said. Mika nodded. "Yuu-Chan..I love you." He said. "I love you too." Yuu replied. Mika and Yuu still held each other's hand. "Goodbye, Yuu-Chan." Mika whispered. "Goodbye, Mika.." Yuu whispered back. The last thing Mika said, was barely loud enough to hear: 

"I know we'll see each other again.~"
